I’d be wondering who on earth is getting ‘CHEESE’ on the back of their shirts. That’s three E’s right there. I don’t reckon there is another word that has that many Es in it.
I see your 3 E's CHEESE so I'll match it and raise it to CHEESECAKE

Apparently they are sending them out in alphabetical order?
Not sure they are, I had mine last week, but my daughter with the same surname hasn't received hers yet

I'm guessing you're on of those that boo'd Gareth Barry after giving us 12 years
I recall hearing something along these lines when Shay Given left Newcastle for Man City.
Someone saying he deserves to go after giving us 12 years loyal service, and his mate counter acting by saying and Newcastle have been loyally depositing £60,000 per week in his bank account for 12 years.

I’m having a new kitchen fitted this week, the fitter has just spotted my Villa mug and told me that he thinks Grealish will stay at Villa. That’s all the proof I need. He’s got a great reputation as a kitchen fitter, so who am I to doubt his credentials.
Freezer a jolly good fellow..........and so say all of us!

Even Radio 1s Nick Grimshaw who doesn't follow football has been talking about Jack. After that an influx of callers and texters into Radio 1 for a solid 24hrs.
Girls were saying that they miss screaming at the TV "WHEN IS JACK COMING ON SOUTHGATE" etc
He is all over people Tiktok algorithms. He is a national heart throb.
One texter said that they miss him and might even come down to VP to get their fix...
Why go to VP when he will be at the Etihad?
...................or will he?

I'm too old to really worry about football shirt designs/looks now, let just say my first Vila shirt was an umbro classic with a home made No.9 stitched on the back so that I could be Andy Gray
Anyhow NurembergVillan , I really do find your input on shirt design, why certain things will/won't work very insightful. It would also be great to have "one of our own" designing the club shirt. Good luck!!

Another game that springs to mind is when we lost at home to QPR, can't remember if it was 3-1 or 3-0, but Trevor Francis scored a brilliant hat trick for them. He was player manager at the time and must have arranged for himself to be substituted and went over to the Witton Lane stand so that he had to walk the entire width of the pitch to get off, at snails pace, whilst applauding the QPR fans. Think there was only 14,000ish fans in the ground that day - felt like I'd got the Holte End to myself.

The game that left me feeling completely numb, empty and frustrated was the end of the first premier league season (1992) when we were going for the title with ManU. Villa drew 0-0 with Coventry, which in itself was a bad game, but at least Utd were losing at home to Sheffield Wednesday when the Villa game finished and we left the ground. By the time I was walking by the Aston Social a train went over the track above us with Coventry fans hanging out the windows, laughing, singing, waving and having a real good laugh, generally taking the mick out of any Villa fan they could see - strange reaction to a 0-0 draw I thought, until I got back to the car to hear that Utd had won 2-1 in the 9th minute of injury time

Why add the Grealish bit? Why can’t the article stand on its own
It's their way of letting people know that Villa don't have any money to sanction such a deal without getting money from somewhere else first................If only they knew the truth

Arsenal rejected Villa's second Smith Rowe bid
Aston Villa have returned with an improved bid of £30million for Arsenal playmaker Emile Smith Rowe - but they have been turned down again, reports The Athletic.
Dean Smith's side saw an opening offer of £25million rejected for the talented Englishman, who has two years remaining on his contract at the Emirates.
Villa's fresh offer comes amid intense speculation that Jack Grealish could seal a £100million move to Manchester City.

Birmingham City's St Andrew's renovation won't be ready for start of next season
EXCLUSIVE: The summer repairs will fix some problems at the stadium - but not all - with struggling Birmingham kicking off the new campaign with a reduced capacity

Quote - Water ingress is understood to have affected the structural steelwork
So the chant about St. Andrews is correct, there really is a hole in the roof where the rain pisses through

Although they lost to a last minute goal last season, I thought Brighton were one of the best teams I'd seen play at Villa Park.
In my opinion it was only their early sending off that stopped them from winning that game. Very confident in the way they play and in each other to receive the ball. If I recall correctly they seemed to play through the middle a lot last season, from keeper, to centre halves, to midfield and then spread wider once they had engineered the ball forward.
Villa have improved massively this season so this could be a very good game.
I'd take another Southampton/Leicester/Wolves last minute win, but I'd love it if we could put 4 past them just to make the last few minutes a bit easier on my nerves.

Dr Jo
in Villa Talk
I remember going to the opening of Bescot Stadium when the first official game played there was Walsall vs Villa, and if my fading memory serves me correctly it was also Dr. Jo's first game in charge.

It's not just Grealish that now has SL6 bias.
Haven't got the stats to hand but the second half of last season Jesse Lingard was on fire for West Ham and couldn't even make the Euros squad.
3 months later, and 4 PL minutes on the pitch for Man Utd this season, and he's not only in the squad but starting games.
