If Sanson is good at set pieces then maybe, in honour of this thread, we could nickname him The Milkman - as he always delivers
-

All these milk puns, how many pages the thread has reached and the fact Sanson hasn't signed yet is beginning to take its toll on me now, in fact I feel like I've lived a long life.

Above Wolves and four games in hand is a great position to be in.
Is this the gap that we have been constantly told to mind?

It’s unlikely that Terry is an ideological racist but using racist language as a means to get a competitive advantage over a competitor (ie wind them up)
I don't think its just racist language being used to wind somebody up. It is any piece of one upmanship you think you can gain by highlighting a persons perceived weakness or major feature and use it to your benefit.
We've all been in a situation where we have got worked up and the easiest thing in the world to do is to use what you perceive as as persons weakness and use it against them, this has been going on since we were all young kids in the playground. Terry chose to highlight Ferdinands colour but how many times have we heard someone call a bald-headed this, a ginger that or a big nosed whatever just because this is their main feature in the hope they lose control and you then gain the upper hand.
I'm sure in the cold light of day no-one would use that type of provocation only "in the heat of the battle"

I should get a ticket first because I'm a bigger fan than all of you
Yeah but my Dad is bigger than yours, so I should be first

As I understand it the capacity for tier 1 clubs is 4,000 or 10% of the stadium capacity, whichever is the smaller, tier 2 is 2,000 or 10% capacity and tier 3 is no fans. So Walsall, for example, who's capacity is 11,300 can only have 1,130 in tier 1 and 2
Also with travel restrictions still in place the ticket allocations for games may be based on postcode, as the government don't want people travelling from a tier 3 area to a tier 1 area to watch a game of football.

I recall an Everton game, during Ron Atkinson's time as manager, where the press labelled it the all whites vs the all blacks as Villa fielded 8-9 black players and Everton, historically, hadn't had a black player play for them. In fact I think Earl Barrett may have been Everton's first black signing.

Does this mean a new batch of fish puns is on its way?!
Bit late to the party, but this is not the time or plaice for fish puns, we are in the process of getting the Rashica thread to over 200 pages.

I'm baffled how Philips gets in and has never played a prem match, whereas Jack has just completed his best ever prem season and misses out, imagine not choosing him.
Didn't Mount also get called into an England squad without playing in the Prem?
Could be wrong but I think he got selected after going back to Chelsea from his loan spell at Derby before he had made an appearance for Chelsea. Just goes to show the line of "must have premier league experience" is complete horse shit.

I know its Southgate's job to pick players for his England team, and if he doesn't fancy what Jack has to offer then that is entirely his decision (albeit a wrong decision), but what I'm really struggling to understand with this squad selection is this:
Harry Maguire, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Kyle Walker, Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling are all deemed not be ready to begin the new Premier League season on 12 September as their teams played onto the latter stages in their respective European competitions and they have not rested enough, yet they are all available to play in these upcoming fixtures on 5 and 8 September.

That's nothing, on Sunday I had 4 monitors on the go!

Everton v Bournemouth on a phone
Arsenal v Watford on iPad
and Jeff and the boys on another TV.

Have we still got Kappa making the kits for next season?, only I'm sure I saw Richard O'Kelly wearing an adidas cap on Sunday.
Then again he was still wearing the Luke cap when we had Kappa.
Just an observation.
