I can play Fifa or COD and have my actions repeated on someone else’s TV on the other side of the world in a fraction of a second, but football streams still lag by 2 or 3 minutes. I am also surprised this delay still exists.
I was watching the Bournemouth game and my mates were laughing at West Ham on WhatsApp , so i fired up the Sky Sports app to see what their score was , only to see that Villa were 2-1 up , when on my feed it was 1-1 and Bournemouth were attacking
Rookie error by me , but at least I was able to bundle in on the West Ham abuse on WhatsApp so a small win

Happy Shakespeare's birth and death day to you (at least he was English and didn't slay a mythical beast)
The dragon myth was invented by a Frenchmen , make of that what you will

Comfortable really , Bournemouth came at us rather than park 11 men behind the ball and we can be brutal at picking teams off that play that way
solid performances all round , Konsa was immense though and a shout out to Rogers also
McGinn over run the ball a few times at the edge of our box and nearly caused us problems but no real concerns other than that
We are so close now , hopefully we can keep the momentum coming for a few more weeks

Just come back from seeing Brain of J at The Robin. Really good Pearl Jam tribute act. The lead singer took Eddie off really well, great voice and the lead guitarist Jack can seriously play!
Yeah I saw them last year excellent set over 2 hours and think it was something like £12 a ticket … went with MrsH29 who was never a fan of PJ but is now on the strength of this gig
they are back at the Water Rats in London later this year so I’ll be seeing them again then

Think I told it in Off Topic at the time , but I was in Andorra skiing last year and there was a bar that was popular and we couldn’t get in … doorman was wearing an Argentina badge , mentioned Emi Martinez played for my team and he suddenly remembered a reservation that had cancelled and they suddenly had space
It’s worth remembering if you encounter an Argentinian anywhere , certainly works better than my usual Hands off the Falklands line

Thinking that maybe we want Chelsea to draw in this match and lose in extra time or even better penalties. Might be the disappointment that end their season and form.
Radio 5 phone in has some people saying Poch should be gone on Monday
let’s hope we don’t face a new manager bounce

I've got sauces in the cupboard that have seen 4x Prime Ministers.
Did they come around for tea or did you take the sauces out on outings with you ?

He almost seems to have a resigned smile on his face when’s he’s taken off each time like he knows it’s coming
he seems popular with the players and staff but for some reason is just lacking a bit of confidence , hopefully it’s nothing that can’t be fixed with a bit more time
I’ll be the first to admit a season or two ago asking my mate “what’s the point of a winger who can’t beat a man and can’t cross a ball “… obviously I was talking about Bailey … but I won’t make the same mistake with Diaby , his time will come

Yeah but that’s not time wasting. It’s not like they’d have run out of time and only been able to take 9 penalties. There’s no clock ticking
I suppose the irony is had Emi not shit housed Bentaleb , he might have taken his miss more gracefully and not booted the ball away in frustration and thus Emi wouldn’t have been having to ask a ball boy for a football which apparently constitutes a bookable offence
but sadly I’m resigned to Olsen being in goal now and just praying that isn’t going to cost us

Loads of clubs you think will sign our players are also on tipping point of PSR "allegedly"
Exactly
We would want £100m for Ollie
No club is spending that on him , and certainly not Arsenal who don’t have that sort of money to spend unless they have a Saudi partner who will buy one of their older carthorses for £60m

Two wins guarantees 5th and at worse Europa league
beyond that we just have to match Spurs results whilst keeping our goal difference better than theirs
they have Burnley and Sheff U as bankers their other fixtures all look potentially like loses , but alas football doesn’t work like that
3 wins could just about do it , but I’ve given up trying to predict who we will beat , it would be just like Villa to beat Liverpool but lose to Bournemouth

Slightly obscure as I doubt many will have even heard of them but a few months back my daughter went to a Mother Mother gig in London… posted a few pics on Facebook and a friend of ours who saw them rung us to say Ryan the lead singer from MM is doing a song writing workshop for our charity in Guildford tomorrow would she like to come along.
so , daughter went along and helped write a song and then got to sing some backing vocals on the recording of it ( she can sing a bit so unlike me who would have been given a microphone that wasn’t plugged in , hers was recorded )
heard last night that it’s actually being released as a charity single by his management , so sadly although it won’t get air play and won’t chart , my daughter is now officially a recording artist

And there’s a Big Country album (Why The Long Face) as part of Record Store Day schizz, and unbelievably it appears to be fairly sensibly priced.
It’s seen as one of their weaker albums (pipe down @bickster ) but I still give it a spin at work from time to time
Funnily enough at the time I saw them promote this album in HMV on Oxford street as I happened to be working in the area that day and walked by and saw a stage area being setup so popped in for a look

New James album arrived this morning will be giving that a spin
It’s actually just become their first ever number one album ( excluding the greatest hits one) , beating Beyoncé into the number 2 spot ….42 years in the making
they also went down the record shop and live gig with a copy of the album route that Shed Seven did to achieve their first number one album …. It’s a great way to beat the system rigged for the major acts , hope it continues ( also means I get to see James playing at Pryzm in Kingston later this year )

Sadly I've never known a yellow card to get rescinded other than when the ref's booked the wrong player. It's **** stupid but I'd be very surprised if they did anything. I think this is just Emi's reputation coming back to bite him on the bum, allied with an absolute scissors abortion of a referee.
there's enough video evidence I would have thought ... a lot will depend on the refs report , but for the Ssshhh motion the ref just gave him a talking to and he didn't argue with the ref or remonstrate with him , so my take would be that the booking was for a new offence after the warning , that offence clearly being picked up on camera of there being no ball on the field of play and him asking for a ball
-
nothing to lose in appealing the second yellow .. if its a bookable offence to ask the ball boy for a football then we might as well give up and go home

Israel has chosen retaliation over international diplomacy, Netanyahu has chosen domestic interest over international interest. So now we're on the edge of a really dangerous war with the international community pushed into a corner on whether they prefer abandoning an ally that's gone batshit crazy or starting world war III. What could possibly go wrong?
Israel were very selective with their targets and Iran have kinda denied it happened
Iran are like one of those people that pick a fight on the little kid at school and then find out he's got a black belt in Judo or something and now want to pretend that they've let him off with a warning
