    I don't think there will be any tears just a good few thousand angry fans running in the direction of McLeish with all manner of weapons they can pick up on the way. most fans are to apathetic to do either. They will probably shrug their shoulders and carry on. dont want to look "embarassing"

    Yorke v gabby whatever. Both annoy me.

    I have a mate who argues blind with me that Gabby is better as he runs around like a headless chicken and "interplays" and "holds up the ball" and this convo is a lot like that. He went and did the "bent hasnt played for a big club yet" line to me as well... showed where we are in the scale of things.

    The difference you show are neglegable. 1 goal extra for every 9 games. Saunders and Yorke added much more to the team. I like Bent. I think he is a good player. But we have had better strikers. Out of interest, are you old enough to remember their performances for Villa during the early to mid 90s? I am not trying to be disrespectul, but you cannot just jusdge them on goals alone. those were the glory years for me. and Saunders and Yorke were brilliant. But to me a strikers job is to bang them in whatever and thats im such a fan of Bent.

    your right he is on £1.9m per year I promise you, he's on much less. He was on 500k at SHA and he didn't get much of a raise Hmmmmm CI or the press from England and Spain..... Hmmmmmm..... tough call.
