our defending is abysmal and has been for most of the season. Bent's record on penalties is far better than Ash's so why is Ash taking them - coz Houllier want to suckup to him to keep him when we all know he will be gone at the end of the season. Houllier do us all a favour and resign before you take us down. we have no fight. When the oppostion scores we go to pieces. Can I add my thoughts as well General. Firstly Happy Birthday ! Why did I spend £££s supporting Villa in earlier rounds of the FA Cup to have our Manager throw in the towel before kick off last night when we had a really good chance of getting to Wembley again after such a dire season. Mr Houllier's post match interview made my blood boil and was a disgrace. The team he chose was an insult to Villa fans. I am now seriously considering not renewing my season ticket and those of my two children if he is still in charge after this season. His actions this season on several occasions have never made me so angry as a Villa fan.

I was absolutely furious after the Liverpool game and I am not far behind it now. Why should I renew my family's 3 season tickets with this idiot in charge ?

ok to add to my earlier comment been 4 times to wembley in ten years and still not seen us score in open play which is not a stat to be proud of. We need a play maker in midfield and a striker and have done so for a while.

ok my twopenniesworth..... I totally agree with MON's interview after the game _ I don't mind losing to a better team but to have two very bad refereeing decisions go against you only 6 weeks after another shocking one is a disgrace. However with my sensible head on...... To sub Carew with Heskey was a complete joke, taking downing off as well and putting delph and the Fonz on would have made much more sense. I have been to Wembley 4 times in the last ten years.. I am sorry but unless we buy better players e.g. a quality striker which we've waited 3 years for then as a friend send to me recently Villa are always going to be the 'nearly men'.
