he was in a team of Defenders yesterday........I feel for the guy. Every misplaced pass was met with boos and jeers yet when Ireland did it nobody uttered a word. An attacker needs confidence, his basic footballing abilities or flair or anything are all effected by this. The guy had chances to shoot yesterday but was shit scared of missing and getting boo'ed again. Look at the young lads, always shooting and having a go!! People need to remember NZO isnt enjoying football at the moment, his words, and we as fans should be filling him full of confidence and encouraging him. End of the day the manager picks the team and he is very defensive. The only real attacking players yesterday were Ireland and NZO

I still think Heskey will be at Leicester and he's only had a good few games because McLeish might give him another year on 50k

Wouldnt be a bad signing for Reading but personally i think he might head to Leicester in the Championship

most of those are season ticket holders who didnt renew because of McLeish. Basically its dropped by 3000 which is why Villa are doing a season ticket price freeze for next season if you buy by the end of this month May 31st.

i think its a decent deal. I bought 4 Villa vs Swansea tickets for £57 and also Spurs tickets last year for £22 each.

Given for 3.5m, then NZog for 10m, and Parker for 6.5m (just my opinion) = £20m = i would take those three in a swap for Downing's £20m before he left. Then use AY's money for Vargas + some more. Job Done

I would love to see Moyes at the club. Players respect him, managers respect him, an pretty much everyone respects him. You dont hear of player revolts, arguments, diciplinary breaches etc at his club. He's bought, and sold, players for brilliant prices and they consistantly do better than Villa in the league. They have only finished behind Villa once since 2003. 3 longest serving manager in the premier league......YES PLEASE!
