  1. And Messi is 2 years younger than CRonaldo. What can this guy achieve? I hope he stays injury free for his entire career so we can witness him becoming the greatest ever player. Am I going OTT?
  2. Well, we've seen a team this season that will be talked about for years to come. It's all downhill from here. They can't get better can they?
  3. If Shearer is there they won't. Ashley apologises for his mistakes and then there's talk of a 4 year contract for Shearer. Idiots. Everyone of them at that club. Instead of spunking millions on a club legend with no experience, get on your hands and knees and beg Alan Curbishley to be your manager.
  4. Miles apart they were. shocking that they were even in competition. Although it was really Anderson in that withdrawn role.
  5. The United midfield is definitely missing that World class player to step it up. United fans love Anderson but as you said what the hell is he? Giggs and Scholes are too old. I'm not sure who the player they need is. Maybe Fletcher, definitely Hargreaves or someone new. Isaiah Osbourne? Salifou?
  6. I do think they deserved to be in the final when looking at the way they play football. Although some of the decisions made against Chelsea were awful. Yet Barca should have had a penalty in the first leg. It swings in roundabouts although I do see what you are saying. At least Barca haven't had a rich sugar daddy take over and turn them from a non-existant club into league challengers (like Chelski). Fair play to Barca on the night as I think they have been the best team in Europe all season. They could only play what was put infront of them and they could only accept the decisions made by the refs. Barca should have had a peno i the first leg, I agree. But it doesn't really matter when you probably need to use 2 hands to count the amount of penalties Chelsea should have had! I think that's a bit harsh on Chelsea. Barca have a tonne of money and always have, just because they've been a richer club longer than Chelsea doesn't mean they haven't bought their way into the Champions League, they have, same as most top clubs. Watching Barca today, they seem unbeatable. On the ball it's clear to see how good they are, but it's off the ball that's amazing. Everytime United got the ball, they just chased it and gave no relent until they won it back, amazing stuff. What a year for Xavi and Iniesta. Barca definitely spend a lot of money but some of their best player tonight (Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Messi) came through their youth system. A sensational win against a team feared throughout Europe. And what is to be made of Pepe Guardiola? Astonishing, amazing performances throughout the season. 37 year old, 1 year of B team experience and he can achieve this, simply amazing.
  7. Xavi, easily. Iniesta is a great player but he didn't really do anything special in this match. Did you watch the game? Perhaps you have just got the players mixed up. Did YOU watch the game? What the hell lads? Iniesta and Xavi were BOTH outstanding. Messi was outstanding. Eto'o and Puyol were great. The rest were very good. Simply fantastic. How is their any argument in this thread at all? Barcelona were so much better it was shocking. Ronaldo and Rooney, 2 superstars, anonymous, give or take a couple of moments. This was an absolute annihilation, without the scoreline really reflecting that. The pass and move of Barcelona destroyed United. The dribbling and ball carrying of Iniesta and Messi was brilliant. Maybe Fletcher could have been the difference but we'll never know. United had no destroyer in the team and Giggs doesn't have the legs to really do anything anymore.
  8. If you don't support them you should hate them, How can you "not mind" them? Imagine the collective smugness of Ferguson, CRonaldo and the fans if they win? I hope they lose 24-0.
  9. It's a toughie. Renknapp is so blatantly a cock while FSW is more underhand about it.
  10. I know what you are looking for: Murders in Baltimore This is actually amazing when you have watched The Wire or Homicide: LOTS. Someone else can do the image uploading of they are so inclined.
  11. If Villa were paid £5 million I would not take him. He is scum. Should be locked up.
  12. With the size of the tail, legs, and jaws it would be difficult to see a bear getting close without being bitten in 2, or swiped away. I'd also assume that a T-Rex has very tough skin. I voted impossible although if you had an endless supply of bears the T-Rex might get tired and let it's guard down.
  13. Iniesta has torn a thigh muscle. Barring a miracle he will out of the final.
  14. I think the referee was looking for a blatant lunge or bad tackle to give a penalty. A bit of argy bargy, pushing and shoving or 50-50 wasn't going to do it With the penalties, he probably thought they were ball to hand and not deliberate.
  15. I wish that equaliser had gone in off John Terrys arse. **** off Chelsea.
  16. They are really **** mad. This isn't going to stop. I predict some crazy headlines and a lot of digging into the referees life. It will be discovered that he once watched a Barcelona match on TV, accidentally.
  17. Maybe I'm alone but the only penalty for me was the Pique handball. Eto'o had his back turned so how could that be a penalty. The 2 'fouls' were 50-50 and would have been very harsh penalties. The sending off was a mystery and the referee clearly saw it wrong.
  18. I don't think someone who has committed suicide should be called a gobshite, whatever the reason they did it.
  19. I dread to see chelsea winning on penalties or something.
  20. I'd like an Arsenal-Barca final as I dislike United and like Barca. Should be a good game of football if that happens as well.
