  1. I'm not a teacher but still think he's terrible. I genuinely believe his calamities seem to be infectious. He's always falling over, on corners he was running into our own players effectively taking them and himself out of the game and his tracking back is just a joke. The fact RDM made him captain really concerns me greatly.

  2. I just get the feeling he's a distructive character and we need to build a team that's together, think I'd be happy to see him go if we could bring in someone proven to play alongside RM.

  3. Always liked him and hoped he'd come good but probably best he goes. Stats speak for themselves... Not enough assists and although skilful just not strong enough for English football i don't think.

  4. Think we have to take Dr T's optimism and tweets as excitement and fair enough. As long he's good at the ownership stuff which at the moment seems to be the case by the management teams he has got in under him so far and as long as those teams then do what they are supposed to then we good to go. He needs to be careful what he says and maybe he might still be a bit naive still how his words will be analysed over here and outside China. He said we have about 30-40 mil to spend did't he at first. I guess we on track for that. 2.5 signings so far which will total about 10m and rumour of prob at least 3/4 more coming in and at least one being a stricker. With current inflated market prices  I reckon we on track to spend at least 30 this summer.

  5. Not much happening on AVTV at mo it seems, which I find a bit annoying. As a paid for service f@!k all is happening, there should be a media team out in Austria getting interviews and videos of training, a feature everyday, is the least what subscribers deserve at least I reckon. I hoping it's a case of the takeover has affected things and maybe/hopefully the media team is being rebuilt along with the AVTV service. if we are serious about being a top club again  like we hope and Doc T seems to say we are going to be, we need a online service, media and web team that reflects that.

  6. I know nothing of him but like what has been said about him and has the necessary experience. Think his pre match rituals are more of a case of quite developed OCD, but if it helps him and the team then great.

  7. Should hold on to him. Showed some signs of potential. Thought it was always harsh for us to judge him last season being a new dad and moving to a completely new country and culture. Think he could be a big player in championship. Hope RDM can work with him and sees potential in him.

Small Heath have never and will never win the FA Cup so I guess McLeish won it in his dreams as did the knuckle-draggers.;)

Good point, my mistake, carling cup. He won something, that was my reasoning

  9. So far as I can tell Pearsons main plus is that he won the championship and he wont take any shit. McLeish won the FA cup but it didnt mean he was right for Villa. I might be wrong but Pearson just feels similar, not right. Maybe he can prove me wrong if we do get him in but I don't think I'll ever like him, bit of a thug and I like to think Villa are better than that.

  10. RDM or Moyes for me. I understand the people who are pro Pearson but i just don't like him. Used to be more pro Moyes and would be happy enough with him, needs to rebuild his reputation much like villa but my only concern is if he is to damaged now. RDM feels like quite a good fit right now. Knows the championship, has won stuff and worked with big players on big stages. Not really sure who be best but think out of the three please not Pearshaped

  11. A couple of days ago we had Randy Leaner and only rumours to give us hope now we have Dr Tony and don't know what the future holds. I'm going to think positive at least until they appoint manager. Welcome Dr T I hope this is the start of making Villa competitive again.

  12. I haven't been keeping up with what's going on, is any takeover actually likely or are we just being fed a load? I can't help thinking it won't happen and main function of all rumours are to increase season ticket sales. Starting to think like another poster mentioned, seems a bit suspicious that these rumours always come around at this time, and now three seasons in a row, hope it's not but get the feeling it's all a tactic to keep us hoping. If not can we hurry up and get it done now. fed up with Learner.

  14. I like Remi but can't see him staying and thinking it might be for the best overall, not sure. He looked dejected at the start of the game, for all the retorric at press conferences I think he known for weeks we're down. His demeanour seems to suggest he's pretty much done with this shite. Shame, hoped he might be a stayer and with funds might have built something.

    I'm not saying Garde is beyond reproach and shouldn't be sacked or whatever but the reasons given in here for sacking him are just down right frustrating and disheartening and it just clarifies to me as to how fragmented the fanbase is on so many different levels. It actually makes me think of just giving up with Aston Villa full stop to see so many people not getting the point that the manager is the least of concerns with this club right now as it doesn't **** matter who the manager is if they;

    a) have to work with such unintelligent, lazy and self centred pricks that inhabit every aspect of our squad.

b ) are never going to be financially backed sufficiently enough by the absent owner to build their own team.

    c) will be criticised by sections of the fans anyway for not being Nigel Pearson or Sam **** Allardyce. What the **** do the fans know when half of them turned their noses up at Claudio 'out of touch, getting his buspass and past it' Ranieri.

The thing to remember is that hard work doesn't always get the required results. I believe Garde is working harder than all the squad combined, it's clear that he is feeling it and is frustrated with a squad who won't **** listen to his instructions because regardless of getting beat 6 to 8 nil every week and barely breaking sweat they still get paid stupid amounts of money for merely turning up and are laughing about it and goading fans. These are the word removed's Remi has to deal with. No wonder he has lost his marbles!

So much black and white thinking it makes me angry. The players and results are **** therefore Garde is ****. C'mon man, its not as simple as that. Use your **** brains. I always thought we had intelligent fans compared to other teams. Then again, dildo head puts that to rest.

Sack Garde for all I care now, I don't give a flying **** anymore as we as a fanbase continually fail to see what the bigger picture is at this club and don't deserve to get out of this. We fall back into the same trappings that keeps Lerner out of the spotlight. Sack the manager, it's his fault, get so and so in and then 6 months later it happens all over again! We are as thick as **** as the retarded morons who put the villa shirt on every sodding week.

    **** it.

Absolutely spot on. Exactly how I've been thinking

He'll walk after we've officially been relegated and I wouldn't blame him either.

It appears we have employed an 'old school tie' network who will back each other before the manager everytime, even to the detriment of the club/playing staff.

    Dark(er) days ahead......

Unfortuantly I think this is the case :(
