God I can't stand Henderson. Like Gill but he has to move the ball forward more and faster when he does, yo often gets the ball and loses momentum. Shame he not quicker as well, would be so much better.

Signing zog up in a contact that has totalled £23m sums up the mismanagement that has preceeded Remi Garde. Can't really blame zog, would any of us turn that sort of money down. He was never worth it and always a big risk based on his patchy history at other clubs. Alex McLeish was a terrible manager, and signing like Zog and other mediocre players on high wages and long contracts sanctioned by Learner have what's got us into the state we are now in. 

Hopefully we lining up Remy still, that would best news. If it's something to do with the board then what's Gerrard Hollier up to now? Him and Ian Taylor joining the board I reckon what be step in the right direction. heres hoping anyway.

Bit poor 1st half, better 2nd. Pleased with continued effort and happy enough with a point. Really like Vertout but his final balls were a bit poor today. Kozak worked hard but we so badly need a replacement up top in his position. Overall a good point and unbeaten in 2!

I have seen a lot of reports lately where Fox and now Hollis are saying something is fundementally broken at the club, think Learner Evan mentioned in his Hollis statement. They all run on about fixing but no one dares mention that the only constant  throughout the years that still exists is Learner, Krulak and the board. Pretty obvious all know this and are pretty much saying it but without saying it... Elephant in the room? Randy Learner and his buddy's like Krulak are what's fundamentally broken at Villa!!!

Not about what he said so much for me. More that he stood up and faced the fans, a good gesture in my opinion 

Didn't see game but credit to him for playing right back and fronting up to fans. Gone up in my estimation.

Did Vlaar want to leave or did villa decide not to renew his contract, I don't know so will take your word for it. I just never felt comfortable with Richards coming here to be a cb. He declared before signing that's his position and I think his stubbornness to be a cb is damaging to the team. Never thought he'd make a good captain either. As much as people here slag of vlaar he always seemed a passionate yet respectful captain that took his responsobilitily seriously. Micah seems like he's main passion is defeding himself on Twitter and in the papers. I hoped he would prove me wrong but I never thought he'd cut it as a captain and so far think that's the case. If he acknowledged his shortcomings as a CB to date and declared he was happy to play RB that would to me show more leadership skills and that he cares about Villa as much as himself.

@Richard you seem convinced Garde is no good and a poor manager based on the short time he's been here yet defended Lambert to the end, initially claiming he would be the greatest villa manager in 30 years. Just interested to know why you backed Lambert so long but are unwilling to give Garde a chance after such a short time. On another subject... Your views on Learner are spot on.

Want garde to succeed and think he could be right man long term. Today however he's played the wrong line up

Great penalty, excellent attitude, fighter and think he speaks well and honestly. He said a few weeks ago after losing we are getting better and that things will turn around. He's right, slowly things are improving. Still think we are down but like him as a player. Need to keep him Okore and Veretout for championship, build team around them.
