  1. Villa fans are totally exonerated because we love the Club & are totally & emotionally involved. Even upto the point of The Maloney equaliser at the Emirates yesterday. We let our head rule our hearts & are therefore unable to see the wood for the trees. The pundits are just plain arrogant & the bottom line no matter how you spin it is their so called super analysis is just bullshit. It doesn't matter how close we flirted with Relegation we stayed up & they were convinced we wouldn't & more importantly according to them QPR's Investment would ultimately be the deciding factor. So, to repeat myself............................You were totally Wrong!
  2. So wind up merchant Gobby Savage who is having the last laugh now? Plus at the close of the transfer window on 31st January 2013 that super smug clearing in the woods Mark Lawrenson & most of the mass media just couldn't wait to extol the virtues of their Cockney QPR Messiah Redknob & how we would see how is super dooper £25M transfer bonanza would blow Sylla & Co & everybody else into oblivion. What was it now? Oh yes! We really fear for Aston Villa, you can't ask boys to do a man's job!.............Oh Really? Well now! We have seen & you were Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Will you admit it? No chance! So much for football Pun-twits! rocket polishers the lot of 'em
  3. Jimmy..............You even managed to capture Bannans one quality moment all season. How on earth did you manage to get him to do that? Your'e not Con in disguise are you?
  4. Thanks Jimmy That was pure class in a glass! Take a bow Son! Take a bow! Martin Scorcese, Oliver Stone, Steven Spielberg & Quentin Tarantino are running scared. Absolute quality Jimmy a joy to behold. ,
  5. I think we will make a minimum of 6. This is going to be one of the most exciting Summers ever as a Villa fan in awaiting what lies ahead in the transfer Market. Lambert has shown that he can be more than trusted to spend money wisely & I'm certain that he is more than aware of the positions that we need to strengthen so I am happy to watch the joy unfold in his capable hands. One thing that won't be predictable however are the names that Lambert will unearth but you just know for certain that he is the only prospecter that is gonna strike gold.
  6. Come on Jimmy..................I can't wait.................I'm an impatient son of a gun..............Sort it! Now! Come on Jimmy..................I can't wait.................I'm an impatient son of a gun..............Sort it! Now! Come on come on come on!
  7. Because of the new financial dispensation it was absolutely imperative that we survived this season. Relegation would/ could easily have set us back 10 years. The margins in football are so fine it is frightening, especially when you are staring into the abyss of a 46 game Championship & witnessing what has happened to Wolves & how in just 20 seconds Leicester saw the gateway to heaven smashed firmly in their faces. Right now I'm just totally overwhelmed with relief & glad that the answers to the questions that you pose lie firmly with the Board who hopefully now can propel this project further.
  8. Football only fails to work like that over small sample sizes. For example, in a one off match, there's a chance anything can happen. Increase it to two games and it gets a lot less likely, add a third into it and the chances of all the outcomes being upsets are almost non-existant Just like when Wigan won at Liverpool, home to Man Utd & then at the Emirates last season & only going down 2-1 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge to a last minute goal last season! We beat Chelsea away last season ..didn't work out so well this season did it .... The point is though that with those bloody annoying turds Wigan all things are possible. As stated previously I wish they would just bugger off & get relegated to the turd division!
  9. Ghost! We will all be having parties when he moves on. Believe me, Peter Stringfellow has never taken so many pre-bookings for June 30th 2013.

  11. or 2-1 to newcastle you could pick literally any game we dropped points in Not necessarily! We could still go down on goal difference & either unfortunate own goals by Westwood v Wet Spam or Baker v Reading could still come back to haunt us even though we won both games!
  12. No! It's because avflife wants to go mortal on his ill gotten gains! Haha Villa_Revolution you alright fella and can **** guarantee anyone on VT, I will spend all my ill potential winnings (£2,050) on a night out or two in Brum if Villa do get relegated. See! I told you it was all his fault!
  13. And the Pie man from Wigan Who Dave Whelan claims can go with his blessing! He must have changed his mind then. There was a rumour Pukka were after him and Whelan released this statement - The Pie man's always in demand, Whenever he wants to go I'll release him immediately but he'll only go to a big, big kitchen and I don't think Pukka are big enough. It's his decision. All I do is support him. He's the most honest man you'll ever meet. If anybody approaches him, he comes to me and tells me. I trust him implicitly. I don't think he'll go this season but if he does I'll shake his hand and wish him good luck because he's been a brilliant Pie Man for us and I hope he continues for another four or five years. Sounds like pie in the sky to me!

  16. Who will thankfully be out of our Club at the end of June. Yippee only another 47 days 23 hours 36 minutes & 10 seconds to wait till I crack open the Champagne in delirious celebration!
  17. think Barcelona and Real Madrid are chasing him but Mourinho might bring him to Chelsea and show him a tiki taka masterclass Just as I feared!
  18. It's gonna be mighty damned hard to keep hold of Bannan if we make the dreaded drop!
  19. Con is Micheal Jackson....................123 simple as ABC
  20. Yeh 8pints! But h's no Johan Crufts!
  21. Con is right! This is the unquantifiable aspect that no bookmaker can take into account. 5 mins into the game & Arsenals keeper gives away a penalty & gets sent off, leaving Wenger having to replace a striker in order to bring on the substitute goalkeeper. Wigan score the spot kick & basically we are ********. Wigan play better against 10 men as they showed against Man City when Zabeleta was sent of on 84 mins in the Cup Final. They also got lucky in similar circumstances when playing QPR who were all over them up until Zamora got sent off then Maloney scored a free kick deep into injury time which effectively killed QPR. The bottom line is that with Wigan all things are possible & it would be foolish to take their trip to Arsenal has a gimme for the home side.
  22. but Being Totally shit & F****** Useless is the same thing!
