NurembergVillan Posted September 17, 2013 Moderator Share Posted September 17, 2013 Folks - the Mrs has got a 2009 Micra N-Tec which has a built-in SD card sat nav system. As it's now 4 years old she wants to update it but the Nissan version is £125. Anyone know if there are other universal ones, whether they'd work in this system and how much they cost? It's all new to me!
Tegis Posted September 17, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) I find it hard to believe Nissan would allow anything but their own stuff in the system. If that's the price, buy tomtom or navigon apps for her smartphone if she has one. UK tomtom for iphone is 40 quid I think, western europe is 55 Edited September 17, 2013 by Tegis
NurembergVillan Posted September 17, 2013 Author Moderator Share Posted September 17, 2013 Might be a shout mate. Otherwise I've seen some on eBay claiming to be official at £40-50.
Anthony Posted September 18, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted September 18, 2013 Also android phones have turn by turn navigation built into Google maps, unlike iOS.
