kidlewis Posted September 22, 2008 Share Posted September 22, 2008 If someone printed the best ones out on a sheet of A4 paper, and then a couple of people put on one each seat in a section of the Holte (with the General's permission of course)... then that might work spreading the word. That'd be the best way to get the words around I'd have thought. I suggested that ages ago and people said I was a complete saddo! But you are right it is the best way to get word around. I just like the idea of us being original in some way and I think having some completely new chants to new tunes would get a bit of a different atmosphere and get families singing as well. I doubt parents will be sitting in the Trinity with their kids singing together "my old man" and "shit on the city" as much as they are good at City games (cov and small heath) I think we need to really try and get chants out there that won't just be sung by the Holte End hardcore.
