Mantis
yes but got a majority vote so thats how it goes Which just goes to show how corrupt and out of touch FIFA are. yet nobody has been charged about this. English FA tried to get these members on board themselves so are hardly squeaky clean. Nobody remember England ridiculous friendly in Trinidad and Tobago or the friendly they arranged in Thailand but cancelled when didnt win the vote Give it a rest. Please point out where I even mentioned England? I didn't. This petty obsession with England is getting rather tiresome. The "bitterness" over Qatar has got **** all to do with England missing out on 2018 because we never even applied to host the WC in 2022. Why is it so hard to understand that many people believe that Qatar was a poor choice because of things like climate, human rights and footballing culture? I'm not Japanese, Korean, American or Australian, so why would I be "bitter" about Qatar getting it over those countries? As I said a couple of pages back, FIFA themselves rated Qatar as "high-risk".
