Tegis Posted September 10, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted September 10, 2012 As fun as last season was with the Tebow hullabaloo and unpredictability, watching Manning operating is something sweet indeed. And having a solid D to go with it. Good luck throwing against Porter and Bailey Mr Rivers/Palmer/Cassel
Tegis Posted September 10, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted September 10, 2012 So Tegis, who would you pick between Tebow & Manning, knowing that Manning might be short term, won't be 100% and both would require relatively large squad turnover? All (of the many) things considered, it's not quite the easy decision that it might otherwise be. Dont care much for Manning now, that's all. Too old to to anything over a period of time, time that we still need as you say. Feels like a Favre at Vikings type of thing. And his physical status is iffy at best. As for Tebow, it's a **** hoot supporting the Broncos when he's back there. The downside is that he's probably not good enough to take us all the way. I'll take the latter or another young hot prospect, we're in rebuilding mode anyway. :bonk:
BOF Posted September 11, 2012 Moderator Share Posted September 11, 2012 Yeah, sometimes the short-term is all that matters. Sure glad I got the Broncos @ 60/1 for the superbowl
kurtsimonw
what's up with Pat Shurmur going for one off the pick 6, giving the Browns a lead of 6!? They lost by 1. Only thing I can think of is that it was very early in the 4th quarter and coaches don't seem to like doing that too early. If he'd have gone for 2 and failed, giving them a 5 point lead, only for the Eagles to kick 2 FGs people would be saying he should've took the 1. The Harbaugh teams looking good again. Wonder if they can avoid special teams **** ups on the way to a Super Bowl this time around, because they look amazing on both sides of the ball. Goose19
Maybe he had absolutely no faith in his O after seeing what they'd put up all day.
