Zatman
most refs would show common sense and give him a warning. Mascherano ripped Llorente jersey off and wasnt even a foul. Cant be 1 rule for Barcelona and one rule for rest of league
Stevo985 Posted November 7, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted November 7, 2011 Martinez's failure to be a pragmatist is a failure of him as a manager imo. While its laudable that he plays nice football with a poor side, I'm sure Wigan might prefer to not be relegated. I've always said this. Same with mowbray when he was at West Brom. Always complimented for playing the "right way". But they finished bottom. The "right way" is the winning way. Whether that's beautiful football, or horrendous Stoke style hoofing. Whatever gets thebest out of the team. If Martinez can do well with Wigan AND play nice football, then fair play. Playing nice football and losing everyweek is nothing to be proud of.
