Xela Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Better in all ways Five years ago i lived at home, hated my job, was on a rubbish salary (£15k) and was just generally plodding on with life Now i have a nice flat in Four Oaks (currently rent but will buy as soon as the price drops to what i want to pay for it - already have the deposit saved up), I have a decent job with direction, I earn a lot more money....more than i ever thought i would earn and i'm happy with life. I wouldn't give the world for my experiences between now and then. I have had shit times that every teenager has growing up but in the grand scheme of things they are nothing serious. But the world is not to be feared. I have learnt so much in the last 5 years, become so much more independent but then at the same time more mature and a lot more sociable (I would like to think anyway).
