Dodgyknees
I've been trying to access Google Play for 24 hours. I can't get in as it keeps telling me there is an SSL error. I've googled the problem, tried changing my date and time, doing something with the certificate in internet options, but still cannot get on. Any of you got any ideas? SSL connection error Less Unable to make a secure connection to the server. This may be a problem with the server or it may be requiring a client authentication certificate that you don't have. Error code: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
Tegis Posted May 30, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted May 30, 2014 Does it work in Firefox or IE? Do you have any antivirus messing with traffic-scanning? And are you sure the date on your computer is spot on, especially the year?
limpid Posted May 30, 2014 Administrator Share Posted May 30, 2014 (any platform) have you cleared cookies and cache? (any platform) have you tried another browser? (assuming windows) are you patched up to date? (assuming windows) have you run a malware check recently? (if it's happening on multiple devices) is there anything on your ISP's support page? (if it's happening on multiple devices) when did you last update the software on your router?

darrenm
Do your OS updates and get the latest version of your browser. You don't look like you have the latest CA certs.
