NurembergVillan Posted May 27, 2014 Moderator Share Posted May 27, 2014 I'm heading off to get married next week and will be taking my camera with me (of course). It takes 4 AA batteries and I currently have some NiMH rechargeables, but as I bought them with the camera about 6 years ago I suspect they might not be that reliable now, although they've not seen tonnes of use. Can anyone recommend a good brand of battery - ideally I'll just charge some up before I go (away for ten days) with some spares and not need to take the charger. Any thoughts? blandy Posted May 28, 2014 Moderator Share Posted May 28, 2014 You tend to get what you pay for, rob. I use Duracell rechargeables, having tried several other brands. More expensive, last longer between charges, and longer working life. Oh and the 6 year old ones will not hold their charge too well.

Same here, personally I've also had good luck with the high end GP batteries.
NurembergVillan Posted May 28, 2014 Author Moderator Share Posted May 28, 2014 Seems right. The ones I have were pricey at the time. Have read good reviews on these - http://tinyurl.com/l4g33t6
