Can't understand why Downing can't play like that EVERY week.....great touch. Stoke, tbh, did'nt know which way to turn at the end of the half and if we had a bit of luck we'd have killed it off by now. They're a huge team, but they're getting turned inside out by some fantastic wing play. Awesome!

Yes, he gave the distinct impression that he was here to challenge and not just make up the numbers. And I think Europe, in particular the CL, holds a great deal of importance to him in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah, I got that....pretty quick and snappy remark. Not a bad interview all round, although he'll have to forget he used to be the liverplop manager!! He's Villa manager now. Sounds focused and realistic though.

Why not???? He'll be in to meet the players tomorrow and oversee training Saturday and Sunday - I reckon he'll take guidance from KMac but essentially he'll get right down to the job in hand. I would imagine he'll know most of them, I'll be more interested in HOW he plays them and how that side compares with the team to play Bolton?
