I've just logged in for the day (12.45 pm how well am I doing! I'vge worked my roe out all morning so I can watch this mssg board for the rest of the day!!!!) If this is being discussed elsewhere my appologies. This news about Neville & Padfield joining up, why would either even consider it, unless they knew other bids better than their own were on the table. They must know they are playing catch up. Which leads me to conclude there must be concrete viable offers on the table from Lerner and Still (hopefully) Unless I suppose they actually do have Villa's best interests at heart and by combining bids / funds can really push us on.

If we are taken over, and we start spending some money on players (IF!!!!) 32red won't budge! They must be laughing right now, They probably got their name on our shirt for a song, and suddenly we could be serious players again! (Touching wood!)

I must confess I have not been paying attention to this, but thought i'd have a look at the overall team. Where the hell is David Platt? And where are Bernie gallacher, Stan Collymore and Sasa Curcic for that Mattter!!!!

What about Trevor Francis, I loath the bloke. He payed for the scum, he managed the scum, he hates us when he commentates on the telly! And to top it all off, I once heard him say, his favourite memory from his career, was scoring 3 against us for QPR......this from a bloke who won England Honours and scored the winner in a European cup final!
