Why do announcers say Boubacar "Camera"? It's "KuhMAHruh" FFS
It's probably KamarAH, as the french always stress the last syllable. Granted, it's probably not a "traditional" french name, but I'm quite sure that's how he pronounces it

They roll the ball around us like it's adults versus toddlers
-
Take Kanara off, please
-
5 yard passes proving to be too difficult.
-
Is it just me thinking that we're doing him no favours by playing him so centrally?
It seems to be exposing all of his weaknesses while exalting none of his strengths.

His ability of doing the wrong thing every time is astonishing.
The type of player you just can't rely on. Brain dead. IQ scores should be part of the selection process, been saying that for ages
-
Gets into a good position, thinks he's Robben, goes onto his left foot, realises he's not Robben and passes it backwards. Every time.
Except that time when instead of passing it backwards under pressure, he tries something fancy, loses it and sets up the counter from which they score.
Hopeless.
When Digne is back can we play with two left backs instead? At least when Digne cuts inside he can actually do something.
-
I haven't seen anything from Ashley Young this season, but if he's been half as good as he's been last season, he'd have been a massive upgrade on cash.
-
Ref is a disgrace, kamara also fouled before ball went out for a corner.

At this point I'd be happier with Digne playing on the right. Cash always cuts back on his left foot anyway, might as well play a left footer there

Dissent gets punished without hesitation, the keeper taking forever to take a goal kick doesn't.
-
His last meaningful contribution was his goal against Brighton and that was in September.
I get he's coming back from injury but his performances aren't really justifying a place in the starting 11. Question is, who starts in his place

Luiz has been great but a lot of that is down to having Kamara patrolling behind him.
Don't think that's fair, he was brilliant last season as well and kamara was put for large parts.
Had a stinker tonight, as every other player did.

I adore him but he really needs to improve his finishing in the opposition box from set pieces. Too many times he just heads it over the bar, like yesterday early in the first half
-
Should have had yet another goal contribution to his name. What a season he's having

Wonderful player.
As much as it pains me to say, I don't think Mings will get back into the team.
Which is fine, if he recovers well he'll be more than adequate backup and a valuable player to bring on to see out games in the final stage where we're under pressure, especially against physical teams.
There is still a role for Mings in this squad, even if not as a starter.

That tackle by Konsa, a thing of beauty. Timed to perfection.
Tackle was brilliant, but sometimes during the half it felt like Konsa forgot he's playing at RB and not at CB

If any of our booked players does something dodgy while on a yellow you just know that red card will come out at the speed of light.
Bar can take 3 minutes to draw lines on a pixelated screen, but apparently checking for a clear and obvious second yellow is against the rules to ensure the game flows. Ok.

Had to pick this thread from page 3, behind Kortney Hause.
He slotted in quietly but seamlessly, looks disciplined and his distribution is very good.
Looks like a very astute loan move, feels like a very adequate Torres backup. Credit to him and to the recruitment department

Whatever his flaws may be, those sliding tackles are very entertaining

To think all those years wasted on him as a holding 6 and then benched under the fraud.
For once, a stroke of luck we managed to re-sign him when it would’ve been easier to sell him for anything. He probably learned a lot by playing as a 6 and likely is a better player for it now

We've played well but the final ball just isn't there.
Just like against forest the front line is not at its best, bailey runs into people, diaby needs to go out wide or he's cut out, Watkins is isolated and the few times he gets the ball it bounces off him rather than sticking, McGinn is somewhat absent.
We're not very likely to score if nobody steps up

You can see there is ability but there's a combination of repeated poor decision making and mostly lackluster end product which makes him feel very replaceable.

Hindsight is always 20/20, but you have to question Unai's commitment to a competition which we always had a very small chance of winning, while already having 2 much more realistic targets in CL football next year and the Europa conference.
3 unnecessary games for a squad which already isn't the deepest, especially midfield which looks knackered.
