We pick ourselves up, we go again.

Why put an inquiry in for him? We know his release clause. He would be bonkers to join us when miles better teams would be after him.
-
'Mad Dog' Pogatetz? No thanks.
-
Shameful, utterly shameful from our club.
Yes, because it's Aston Villa's fault Newcastle have signed four players...
-

He's already faced the **** press last night straight after the game, just like Vlaar did. Lambert may be many things, but he certainly isn't a coward.
I cannot stand our fans at times, I really can't. Any chance at all to jump on the manager or players' back...

Fourth Official knows fuckall. Remember when Solskjaer was meant to be coming here? Said it was nailed on, and for us to "just wait and see #oleoleole".

Coutinho has never had a real shot at Inter. I don't think he's ever completed a full 90 minutes there. He was out on loan at Espanyol last season and did very well though. He would certainly be an exciting signing.
He has the same dribbling as Ronaldo on FIFA.

Ipswich more his level. Bodes well for next season.
This is just pure trolling, and it's all you ever seem to post.

Lescott is exactly what we need at the moment. For the right price and salary, we should do all we can to make it happen.
-
Giants. Need a miracle to get playoffs as long as we beat the Eagles today.
-
Jesus H, the game is 20 minutes old. Still plenty of time left to turn it around.

Talkshite reckon Aubameyang will reject a move to Fiorentina to ensure a move to the Premier League. With Remy on the brink of joining toon, who else could there be to challenge us? Can't think of anyone else who has been linked.

I give a crap what effect it had on spurs because a little over a season before that we were finishing higher than them and actually giving them a proper game instead of them battering us. We helped them improve by playing their player in a way that showed that actually, he is pretty damn good. We then had to let him go. Tell me, who did we then bring in to replace him?
There is no point. Bring players in from abroad, relatively cheap or on loan, if they don't work out get rid. But let's not help to improve our rivals.
They knew he was a good player anyway. That's why they wouldn't sell him to us permanently, and why they spunked £7m on him or whatever it was.
It just seems to me like some people have an inferiority complex when it comes to borrowing other team's players and get bitter about it when they have to go back. We've had a quality player we wouldn't have had access to otherwise for a while and he helped us. Walker was always going to be a top quality player, regardless of weather or not we had him on loan. He would probably have stayed at QPR for the rest of the reason (where he was in fine form) and gone back to Spurs to challenge for the RB spot (much like Caulker did when he came back from Swansea).
I guess we'll never agree.

I get that, but what if the player we get in on loan is better than what we already have? I don't see the logic in being against it.
-
Why would we want to benefit other prem teams? Bringing in a player from them, letting them show what they can do and then they bugger off back to their parent club and we are back to where we started. When was the last time we took someone on loan and then bought them?
How is that much different to signing a player permanently and him leaving after impressing? We get a player who adds depth to our thin squad for a season without a transfer fee.
What possible harm did it do to us by signing Kyle Walker? Spurs were (and still are) miles ahead of us in the league for it to have any effect on us. We got a great player who we wouldn't have been able to attract permanently, so we got him for a season instead. He helped us stay up and scored a couple of fantastic goals. I see that as nothing other than a big plus.
Who gives a crap what effect it had on Spurs? All i'm concerned about is Villa.
-
I don't think we should sign players on loan from prem teams. Waste of time and money.
I really don't understand this viewpoint. How is it? If they contribute to us performing well, then it's good business for both parties.
-
Dont sell bent now that would be stupid cuse you make the other teams stronger and then you haev a much harder task to fight regeletion
We've been done fine without him recently. We could use the money to strengthen ourselves in other areas where we're short of depth.
I remember Galatasaray wanted to sign him before he joined us and he wanted to go there, but the transfer was blocked by SAFC (allegedly). Maybe they would be interested again...

El Ahmadi & Vlaar would put in a good word, I'm sure.
-
Yet another I've seen at Carlisle. Was only young-ish when we let him go, but never scored. Never impressed to be honest.
-
I see no reason why we should break up the current defensive trio. Vlaar will have to bide his time, which I'm sure he'll understand being the professional he is.

11th-14th.

Ivan Perišić has allegedly been told he can leave Dortmund if they receive an offer of €7M. Good player who's good with either foot and can play out wide or through the middle.

3-5-2
in Villa Talk
Yeah, Inter are playing a 3-4-1-2/3-5-2 with Nagatomo and Pereira as wingbacks.
I'm liking the 3-5-2, fits the players we currently have well (apart from Lichaj).
