  1. He's s good player, people expecting him to run around like McGinn are going to be disappointed. He's neat and tidy but not energetic or physical. Performs better when we are dominating and not so well when we are under the cosh. He's been a very useful addition to the squad. People also forget he's not a first teamer, he's a squad player.

  2. Is there anything worse than those "fan" channels? Awful stuff. I wonder how far humanity has sunk when people are actually watching that tripe.

Screw the coefficient. It's in our hands to get us there regardless.

This is the reality. 5 games left and 4th is ours for the taking. If we don't take it then we can't blame Man Utd. or West Ham or Liverpool.

I’d take CL. We’d be financially much better off and I’d hope it’ll catapult us into the elite club bracket in a few years.

It won't though. Elite clubs budget for being in the Champions League every season and we won't be able to do that. We could be just like like Newcastle where it's a once off and we are back fighting for a Europa league place or worse.

The main advantage to being in the CL next season would be getting four away trips to some of the great football grounds in Europe.

If only we had a pre-Iraq Blair to go to the Yanks and get them to wake up like he did with Bosnia.

It's up to EU\UK\Norway to keep Ukraine in this until the U.S election. The US will be forever stained for this.

I don't think the republicans would listen to anyone from Europe telling them what to do when it comes to Ukraine. It has been up to EU/UK/Norway to help Ukraine but, In my opinion, a lot of those countries don't realise the seriousness of the situation and have been much too slow to take action. Putin was right about them, they are more concerned with getting re-elected than doing anything useful and they've learned nothing from two world wars in Europe.

Dortmund going through isn't gonna help but Arsenal eliminating Bayern is still the biggest decider.

I dont think arsenal will beat Bayern in Germany. Also Leverkusen have already won the league now so they are big favourites to win the Europa league.

Iirc Chelsea can't do the stadium sale trick as they don't own it. Stamford Bridge is owned by a separate supporters trust entity,

    Or something.

Pretty sure the trust own the pitch. There was a worry back in the day that someone would buy the club just to own the land as it was so valuable in that part of London. So the supporters trust owns the pitch to ensure any redevelopment doesn't screw the club over.

    I think.

They just lack that 20 plus goals a season man.

They spent £50m on Jesus even though they knew he wasn't going to score enough goals for them. Same with the £65m on havertz. Hard to have any sympathy for them really.

Desperately need a striker, havertz is a good player but they should have spent it on a 9

This is it except Havertz isn't really a good player. He's okay but he's one of those players where you try to play him in a few positions and realise he's no good in any of them. £65m down the drain, should have bought a proper striker.

The commentator and Neville are desperate for Arsenal to score. I don't normally mind Neville but he deffo wants Arsenal to beat City to title

He predicted Arsenal to win the league at the Start of the season so it's not unexpected. Also it's better for sky if arsenal win it as they can hype up the league even more.

Obviously he’s got to do it again next year to emulate Tiger Roll but I think I Am Maximus is a freak of an horse and better than Tiger.

I think Willie will probably aim him at the gold cup instead of Aintree.

They need a transfer window just to clear players out and create a smaller squad to start building things back together.

They are going to have a job clearing out some of those players....who'd take mudryk for example. They would have to pay to get rid of him.

National is no longer the spectacle it once was

Definitely. A lot of the danger and unpredictability is gone out of it. It's just another race now to be honest.

Of course . Why shouldn’t we?

Because we are playing a team who are much better than us, who have less injuries, a bigger squad, are fighting for the title, are at home and have had more rest time.

A draw would be an unexpected surprise.

11 out of 12 Premier League clubs have so far announced season ticket price increases. Palace the only team to not hike the prices

To be honest inflation has been rampant for the last few years. The price of everything is going up across the economy. Whether premier league football is rich enough to eat those increases without passing them on to fans is a moot point, because we all know they won't as the demand for tickets is there.
