I honestly find the Championship a much more interesting league than the Premier League. So much more going on.

It always was. It's a crazy league where there are huge ebbs and flows and upsets. The playoff system also makes it very interesting at the end of the season.

They reckon we will be stuck with a shitty little ground whilst they are dominating Europe and hosting FA cup semi finals

The FA are definitely going to move the FA cup semi's from Wembley to a much smaller arena where they can charge less for tickets and get way less money from hospitality.

I'll be even more intrigued to see the justification for the inevitable £80-120 pricing of our new shirt given the comparative cost price from the manufacturer. Maybe Nuremberg Villian can shed some light with his professional insight into the costing/pricing debate ?

Just wait until the end of the season to buy the jersey from Kitbag.

I’m somewhere in the middle I think. I don’t actively want the English clubs to lose as much as I normally do, but I don’t know if that equates to me wanting them to win.

I want them all to win up to the point the extra CL place is confirmed. Then they can all lose 8-0.

Timely reminder that we are all Liverpool, West Ham, City and Arsenal fans when it comes to European football. C'Mon you Iron, Gunning, Armband wearing Citizen w***ers.

So with the news about Birminghams new stadium plans and ideas, it would seem that those involved in the ‘development’ of VP are morons. And I’m disappointed in the owners for not recognising what the potential was and going through with it. Completely missed out. Only themselves to blame. Proper small time mentality.

You sound rattled. If you look at the numbers Wagner is talking of spending £2 - £3 billion without sharing any real business plan as to how it will all work. If people want villa to do that who do they expect to pay for it and/or how will it be funded? Our owners aren't Abramovic or an Oil state, they won't be throwing money around and not expecting it back.

That’s ridiculous - do the league want this in the courts potentially?

I don't think it will end up the courts because all the clubs have signed up for the current process when FFP was introduced in the first place. I also assume any new member of the PL has agreed to these rules when they were promoted.

If it does end up in court I think Everton would win as in my eyes it's black and white with regards to deductions as in where in the rules other than admin is it written you get a points deduction.

That's the issue for me as yes they admitted to wrong doing but there is nothing set in stone to say what happens when you break the rules.  Not even seen any guidelines it's just some panel making it up as they go.

Dodgy ground for a legal defence for The Premier League.

The clubs have signed up to let an independent panel decide the punishment. A completely different independent panel judge the appeal. Again they can't really go to court over a system they designed & voted on themselves.

they've used financial doping to derail other teams.

Grealish: our best player, captain, everything to sit on their bench.

Phillips: Leeds best midfielder,  should have stayed up with him.

Ake: Bournemouths best defender to sit on the bench.

Nunes:  Wolves best remaining midfielder to sit on the bench.

Kovacic: Chelseas best midfielder to sit on the bench.

Now Paqueta: West Hams best player, who will ultimately be a squad player.

Man Utd. did that for years, same for Bayern. It's standard practice for any team at the top, weaken the opposition.

Hopefully we’ll have someone in office who can put the people in charge of this slaughter on trial.

Do you really expect any Israeli government to do that?

All clubs should just boycott playing Man City until their punishment is decided upon. Maybe then they’ll pull their finger out. Strength in numbers

It's the clubs themselves that will vote for fines instead of points deductions. Like it or not Man City are good for the league, they bring in big names like Pep and Haaland and generate a lot TV money and interest. Of course fans don't see it that way but PL executives only care about money. If they can get money out of Man City, Newcastle in fines that's all that matters. The PL isn't about what's fair and right and sporting integrity, it's just about money.

Guess the next club to fall foul will get 0 right?!

Plucking numbers out of the air springs to mind

I assume this deduction will be reduced to one point on appeal. It's a farce.
