  1. Dont suppose anyone picked up any special feathers in ST? Need them for Warrior q. If not, I'll tag along next time you go.
  2. Few nice screenies from today... Festive fun with a 'partner'... Just thought this was a nice shot... How big? And this last one was a classic. I was wondering through some of the areas I hadnt fully unlocked and came across two low lvl Hunters. Feeling in the Xmas mood i decided to say hello as oppose to wiping the floor with them. I started to ride off after pleasantries had been exchanged and I see the Hunters Mark on me! Then a concussion shot hits me so I quickly dismounted and killed them both in about 3 hits. Some people are just **** dumb.
  3. Of course, I would never do anything like that. :winkold:
  4. It wasnt mate. It was all choreographed by me and Dan BTW, I would just like to say that Dan was a **** legend last night. For two hours solid we grinded and Dan did it for NO XP AT ALL! (we unpartied and I tagged all the mobs) Just to get me up to 60 before I went to bed. No thats what i call unselfish play.
  5. And now I really, really want this... Nice big bastard Weapon! and this set... Nastily hard armour! Although this is probably more realistic for now... Damn fine armour!
  6. I'd got the whole night planned too... :winkold:
  7. ^^^Yes, watched it when you first posted it nays, along with the 'Word Up' one. That Rogue is a scary MFer.
  8. thought we were on v.1.8.4.?
  9. Thing is, its great to watch stuff like that because it gives you something to aspire to. I wish I could have seen that video around 10-15 lvls ago. After reading countless forums today (got ****-all work done) it seems that hardly anyone is happy with their own class at varying times and levels in the game and there is a definite 'grass is greener' feeling of envy among most players. Of course most of this is bollox and it usually happens when you come up against players who know how to play to their classes strengths better than you do (as was the case with me, and I still have LOTS to learn). There are of course the 'overpowered' jibes for Shamens etc, which as Sie explained is probably aimed more at lvl 60's. It turns out too that alot of people find Warriors (lvl 60) to be 'Overpowered' which I find amazing as we have our arses kicked alot in PvP until we get 'Epicced' up and the overpowered tag comes from players who have been torn to shreds by Warriors with Epic gear on. Its all relative I suppose.
  10. Just been watching a video (from the main sites forums) of an Undead lvl 60 Warrior causing absolute **** chaos! He must have Epics etc but christ this bloke can PvP, in most parts he's taking on 2-3 lvl 60 at a time  . Just goes to show what knowing how to play your character can do for you.
  11. Anyone managed to get on?
  12. The Christmas Parrot One Christmas Eve, a frenzied young man ran into a pet shop looking for an unusual Christmas gift for his wife. The shop owner suggested a parrot, named Chet, which could sing famous Christmas carols. This seemed like the perfect gift. "How do I get him to sing?" The young man asked, excitedly. "Simply hold a lighted match directly under his feet." was the shop owner's reply. The shop owner held a lighted match under the parrot's left foot. Chet began to sing: "Jingle Bells! Jingle Bells! ..." The shop owner then held another match under the parrot's right foot. Then Chet's tune changed, and the air was filled with: " Silent Night, Holy Night..." The young man was so impressed that he paid the shop-keeper and ran home as quickly as he could with Chet under his arm. When the wife saw her gift she was overwhelmed. "How beautiful!" She exclaimed, "Can he talk?" "No," the young man replied, "But he can sing. Let me show you." So the young man whipped out his lighter and placed it under Chet's left foot, as the shop-keeper had shown him, and Chet crooned: "Jingle Bells! Jingle bells!..." The man then moved the lighter to Chet's right foot, and out came: "Silent Night, Holy night..." The wife, her face filled with curiosity, then asked, "What if we hold the lighter between his legs?" The man did not know. "Let's try it," he answered, eager to please his wife. So they held the lighter between Chet's legs. Chet twisted his face, cleared his throat, and the little parrot sang out loudly like it was the performance of his life: "Chet's nuts roasting on an open fire...."
  13. If thats correct then I didnt know that either. Live and learn.
  14. Because I had a couple of mobs outside of aggro range while I waiting to pick up the item (I had about half health at the time as I'd just killed the lvl 60 who had the drop) and by the time I had been pissing about with the roll they had come into range and stunned me so I couldnt leg it quick enough. Then I died and has to res at the graveyard in Silithus which is the other end of the map to where my body was.
  15. i left about a week ago and i think Dan and Tarj have too.
  16. Just spent a couple of hours reading through somw WoW forums and it would appear that BG is the best way for a lvl 60 Warrior to get decent (mostly Blues and Purple) gear to begin with. MC doesnt have too much in the way of Warrior gear, which tbh doesnt bother me too much at this point as i've stated before the 40 man runs are a bit daunting for me. Getting rep with the Frostwolf Clan (which can take a while) and getting into the Hall of Legends seems to be the route for me which is great as I love AV and AB anyway and I can also mix it up with some of the other high level instances. Bit happier now as I thought I would have to be doing instance runs almost constantly and I love a bit of BG.
  17. Managed to ding 59 last night (even after I was killed in Silithus due to certain people pissing about with the need/greed :winkold: ) Anyone know what XP the Xmas quests are? Thought i might have a go at them before they disappear. Looks like its gonna be Eastern Plaguelands and Silithus to take me to 60, so any help from a certain Warlock would be welcome.
  18. Congrats Nays. I should Ding it in about a week by the looks of it (unless you fancy giving me a bit of 'Power Levelling' Help) :winkold:
  19. I was chatting before to Bicks and Nays about the lvl60 Scenario. The main thing for me to accomplish after hitting 60 is getting some nice Epic gear so I can finally be of some use in Battlegrounds. Only problem with this is I just cannot see me doing the 40 man Instance runs. I believe (and correct me if I'm wrong, someone surely will :winkold: ) that they last anything up to 4-5 hours and thats after you have waited around for all of the 40 other players. If that is the case, i just cant see me doing it tbh. I have no problem waiting for half an hour for an Instance group to get together, but thats just 4-5 people usually. And the Instances that I have done (not many admittedly) have lasted 1-1 1/2 hours which is about right. So, the question is, are the other lvl 60 Instances (10 men etc) going to contain any of the Epic gear that I will be after or is just MC and the other 40 man ones? Btw, Its going to be a weird feeling finally reaching 60 :winkold:
  20. Me and Riss did have some fun in Stonetalon and Splintertree the other night. I think we killed about 10 alliance in 10 mins and three of those we did with 1 swipe  The best were the two lvl 40's that were camped outside the camp in Stonetalon waiting for Horde lowbies. We kciked the **** out of them and camped the bastards to make them think twice about doing it again.
  21. I really, really hope not. :winkold:
  22. I **** over my first one-on-one lvl 60 today. A Mage in Silithus thought it would be a good idea to stick a fireball up my ass. I turned around, used intercept, heroic strike, hamstring, intercept again (he tried to run off) and finally the coupe de gras with Execute whcih hit for 2k +. Not usually any good against clothies so I was well chuffed.
