No they didn't. You invented that they did

Oh hello you, thought you'd be sniffing about.

The over confidence in the pre match was utterly baffling considering recent performances. Read it back.

This will end up 3 or 4

Same.  He's good, but not great.  He's big and strong, but not particularly quick.  I'd say his game intelligence probably takes him above most midtable defenders, but he's nothing compared to Paul McGrath.

I see him more in the realm of Skrtle type good.

    Fixed

Can you point out those posts (maybe 2) or are you just exaggerating?

Are you unable to read through? I assume you already have done because you've stated a number of posts.

I said 'some posts', which is factually accurate.

I think we will be very lucky to get any form back from Mings.

This is a very valid point. Such a horrific injury will take him a long time to get back up to speed let alone his best.

I can’t imagine all those players you mention above will continue in poor form, can you?  Even a slight uptick should reap rewards back to better performances because the results need an uplift but not that bad, it’s the performances that have been poor.

About the players, i'd hope not, but who knows. Diaby was on fire and has just progressively got worse, with little signs of a turnaround. Results might be 'ok', but how long will that continue when performances hhave been consistently poor since our last conference league home game, imo

This is it I think and that’s why it’s hard to criticise Ollie etc he’s not missing chances, he’s not getting them. The most he’s on the ball atm is on our half way line

This. Full backs and front line are givijg him nothing

  7. Our early season form was incredible. No team knew how to fully deal with us.

Now they do. Play a low block and lots of high pressing and we lose all momentum, killing off any service to Ollie (this is the main reason he is not scoring, not cus he's suddenly turned to shite).

Diaby has gone backwards, ramsey has been poor, zaniolo poor, bailey hit and miss over recent weeks so thats our whole front line off it.

Mcginn's standards have dropped and our full backs, who are the main threat of attack have been inconsistent also.

Thank god for emi and konsa.

Anyone who is not concerned by our present form and level of team and individual performance is living in a dreamland.

To think the teams below us have zero chance of catching us because we are 8 points clear of 6th is so naive.

The points don't lie, its a drop off but it ain't considerable. As pointed out earlier and ignored, if we continue this form over the rest of the season we would still get top 4 looking at the last few seasons,  but let's not facts get in the way ay. UTV,  sotc.

Most of those points were won before our slump. If we carry on scraping draws against teams like sheff utd and everton, we will not get top 4

2 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss in last 5 matches.
2 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss in last 6 matches.

3 wins, 4 draws, 1 loss in last 8 matches.

3 cleans sheets in a row.

Spin it how you like, but the fact remains our drop off in performance has been considerable

We were magic for the guts of 12 months. We seem to be in a dip now. Let's hope Emery can get us firing again

Careful mate, can't criticise on here!

Think the problem with Emery is that since he's come in he's done such a remarkable job that expectations have risen exponentially. Mentally,  as a team and a fanbase, we've gone from expecting to make a go of fighting for midtable to being outside title challengers and top 4 favourites in the space of about 14 months.

Emery has done an amazing job.

I'm not saying he needs to go or anything so drastic, hope he's here long long term.

Our performances over the last 5/6 games have been very poor. We are in a slump, that is fact

If our dip in form has such terrible results as drawing vs Chelsea away then I'm going to be honest I hope we sack him and go back to ginger bollocks and playing 8 at the back at the bridge

We're bumbling along at the moment but let's not be spoiled by what came before, we're doing fine still

We are not doing fine, that is an enormous stretch.

    Ollie one goal in nine.

One win in 5 all comps

    No goals scored last two

Failed to beat sheff utd, man u after being two up, scraped past burnley, failed to beat everton.

You must have been doing something else when his shot ended up in the net but chalked off for Luiz handball

    Hugely clutching at straws
