You're not alone. I'm not happy about it, but it is what it is.
Rrrrrrrrrrrr-sen-ol.
I'll be on tik tok cheering on Dec, Sak's and the boys.
Just vomited

West Ham is absolutely enormous now. Lose that and we could see us have a really poor end to the season.

If we appeal and they class it as a frivolous then it could be increased
Ah fair enough then

That can't be true. There's me for example.
Boolies don't tout.
Ok except for you. Bookies have had us as favourites from the start. Premier league trumps all others i suppose

Touted by who?
Every bookie, media outlet and fan on the planet

Are we going to appeal?
Personally I think it's a red all day, but if a appeal is put in and rejected, will it stay as 3 games? If so we may as well
-
5 wins from the next 10.
I'd say realistically defeats against city, liverpool and arsenal.
So 5 wins from 7.
Brentford and bournemouth at home - our best chance of wins against two poor sides at home.
So, wolves (h) - on paper, should win but they are a bogey team for us.
Brighton (a) - seem to do well vs brighton but they are a very good side on thrir day
West ham (a) - with their form, have to absolitely be looking for 3 points here.
Palace (a) - again targeting for 3 points but has been a toigh groind for us.
Chelsea (h) - what kind of villa will turn up, what kind of chelsea?

We need to concentrate on trying to finish fourth, all this talk of fifth being good enough for Champions League can lead to complacency.
Villa fans talk about what a good job Emery has done, but don't seem to have much faith in him, as soon as a team comes within a few points of us they give up on our ability to finish above that team, and act like we need a massive points cushion to stand a chance, happened previously with Man Utd, and now is happening with Spurs, will probably happen again with Man Utd next weekend if they win and we lose.
If we win next weekend and Spurs lose, Spurs will be closer to Man Utd than us, even if the opposite was to happen and we lost and Spurs won, we would still be in a good position, as Spurs would only be one point ahead of us, and still nine games left to play, ten for them but they have a tougher schedule, point being at the moment we're still in with a very good chance of getting fourth
Agreed, aim for 5th, and we will end up 6th
-
Strongest 11 please. Win this tie and i'd argue we wont play anyone as tough as ajax

Not getting 4th after the season we've had will be incredibly hard to take. Not getting 5th will be an utter failure and a complete shambles.
Both situations, as well achieving 4th are possoble

Spurs
Fulham (a), Luton (h), West Ham (a), Forest (h), Newcastle (a), Man City (h), Arsenal (h), Liverpool (a), Burnley (h), Sheffield United (a), Chelsea (a)
Aston Villa
West Ham (a), Wolves (h), Man City (a), Brentford (h), Arsenal (a), Bournemouth (h), Chelsea (h), Brighton (a), Liverpool (h), Palace (a)
I think we will still get fourth based on those
Man utd
Brentford (a) sheff utd (h) chelsea (a) liverpool (h) bournemouth (a) newcastle (h) burnley (h) palace (a) arsenal (h) brighton (a)
From that, i can see spurs picking up 17 points and united getting 18.
That puts spuds on 69 and utd 65.
We need 10 + points to secure 5th and 15 for 4th (in my opinion)
I see us getting 13 (being harsh on us).
Doable but putting all my hopes into what the english clubs do in europe now

Well no I wasn’t being literal. It’s not mathematically done obviously.
Technically Brentford could finish above us.
Realistically it’s done, imo.
I admire your confidence

Then they lose the 3 after that and we win our?
Yep, could happen. Anything is possible, which is why we are in no way guaranteed 4th or 5th
-
6 minutes ago, Stevo985 said:
The likeliness of that happening is minute. And we’d still have 7 games left to fix it.
Even if Utd produced title winning form for the rest of the season, like 2.2PPG, we’d only need 14 points to beat them.
10 points from our last 10 games and 5th is ours, imo
So its not done then is it.
Moments like today have totally derailed teams in previous years

They can target it all they like. It won’t happen.
Basic maths shows the swing needed is enormous.
5th is done.
Hope you're right.
We lose next three, utd win next three, then we're 6th.
5th is not done imo

Great another dramatic United loss meltdown incoming
Lets settle for 7th as United and Chelsea catching us
Losing our captain, off the back of a hammering against top 4 rivals, at home, absolutely opens the door for other teams to target overtaking us
-
Completely let us down
-
Been toothless all game. Spurs well worth their lead. So disappointing
