Live in Ireland and heading over to London that weekend and was wondering where Craven cottage is in relation to oxford street ( where i am staying) and about how long it would take to get there. Any info would be appreciated

Watched it last night and thought blackburn were really poor. A case of if we don't beat them we don't deserve to be in the carling cup final if you ask me. Worrying though the form city have at the moment, I know mancini has had a nice handy run of it but starting to look very dangerous. The everton game at the weekend will be an interesting one

Looks like the city games going ahead tonight so hopefually the game will be a pure war with both teams getting a good few players injured and sent off and blackburn to prevails and win. I can but dream !

There game was at home at 3 last Sat so would imagine it will be good to go. Its the night game that seem to be falling victim of the weather. Badly need the 3 points here and can then relax and watch the pool v spurs on sunday hopefually playin out a draw

With it been a 2 legged affair I can see MON springing a few surprises knowin that we have them to come at villa park. While i dont agree with it I can see Carlos sitting this one out for Collins. While I know this is a semi final I think he will still have a close eye on Sat against Wigan. For what its worth can see it been a score draw which would do me nicely

Gabby has to improve his hold up play and that why Carew went centre forward and he went wide. As for the reo coker was man of the match???????????? Thought he played ok but man of the match definitely not.

I would use this game alright to rest up a few. Beye, guzan, sidwell, reo, collins, delph and alrighton ( not a bad list) should all get a run out here. Even Ashley after his suspension shud be in with a shout. Blackburn wont play there strongest side as they will concentrate on the league cup and relagation from here on. While it would not be the worst to lose this and then concentrate 100% on the other 2 competition it would be nice to win it and an easy 4th round draw and momentum starts to kick in. Also allow a bit of game time for the likes of delph and albrighton. Give me 6pts in the next 2 leagues over a win here though !

Liverpool were the better team for the first hour but then gabby started causing problem and definitely though we finished the stronger. It was a poor game overall so doubt any team should be to boastfull about who bossed it. Some of the above trend just show how fickle some villa fans are. Drop Cruller.............are you for serious. He had been one of our best defenders all season and after a medicore performance ye would have him fed to the lions ! Amazing People then bangin on about MON and cost us again rubbish. All ye crying out on here the whole time about bringing on Albrington and that was the mistake instead of taking off Petrov. The kid just couldnt get into it. When reo went off we had by far our best spell and look far more creative. We just don't have the star player in our ranks at the moment, world class player to win games on their own and these type of players Torress and Fabregas have done us in the last 2 games.

Without van persie they severly lack a target man. Seen their games against liverpool and hull and the out ball isnt there for them. Arshavin is a quality winger but will find it hard to hold the ball up against strong quality defenders and same with Eduardo. So if cesc doesnt play they are goin to have to relie on the likes of diaby and denilson to get them up the pitch. Hull were a major threat until Diaby second goal. Also they have a well dodge keeper so hopefually dunne might nick one from a set play. People are goin on about liverpool dropping out of the top 4 but I dont think Arsenal are that safe either and maybe this year be a case where both could drop out so have to threat this game with the same repect as Liverpool. Arsenal will be missing Song for the month of jan, a player who position they have trouble filling and then they have a really hard run in Feb. I think like Fulham found out last weekend, these are good times to be playing the sky 4 so hopefually we can get something and keep the momentum goin into the pool game.

Their defence is their weakest part of their team so defo have to go with 2 up top. I would stick with heskey as their is no point in changing a winning formula. Would also start downing and if MON feels he is not able for the whole 90 then take him off. As well untilise him for as long as we can and if he needs a rest give it to him on Sat as , on paper at least, that will be a easier game. Reid on the left has had a good year for them along with Cana in the middle of midfield but Kiernan Richardson is defo not a left back and like flether on sat it is a position we should exploit especially with Ash starting to come into form. Optimistic we will score so lets hope we can get 3 clean sheets on the bounce and start defending like we did at the start of the season.......

Realistically Liverpool and Arsenal have already lost to Sunderland away this season so that sures how strong they are at home. They havent the greatest defence in the world though so imagine we will create a few chances and wouldnt be surprised to see the likes of Milner on the scoresheet again up there this season. I think momentum plays a major part and we surely have it goin up there after Sat games. Need another backs to wall effort but can see us scoring so goin for 0-1 to the villa. Don't think we are in for a classic though !

A draw here and a win on Sat at home to Stoke. Set us up nicely for the games against Liverpool and Arsenal

We just beat Man utd away for the first time in 20 odd years and the following Monday morning we have a trend about who has been the worst villa player this season ?????????

1st: I think scholes is suspended so they will prob have to go with Gibson and Anderson in midfield or else move giggs into the centre but nothing to fear there. The big problem is Rooney and how we cope with him. Vidic will pick up Carew if we play 2 up so gabby with attach himself to Carrick so will be definitely lookin to try and use his pace. If Fletcher plays full back Young or Downing will take him on from the start and Flether could find himself getting sent off and it will be the wing that we will attack as Evra is a quality player. Need to get plenty of balls into the box as they didnt not look comfortable aerially last night Cant wait for it !

Ya we would have to be happy with a point. The way Carew played at Old trafford last year would probably in my opinion give him the edge of Heskey. Would play 2 up front and attack them as if we sit off them they will eventually break us down. Scholes out is a big plus. Keep Milner in the centre as he should be well able to look after himself up against Carrick and Anderson.

Any news on whether Collins is back? While i think we might get away with him this weekend, we will defo need him next weekend away to Man u.

I can see us winning this, maybe 2-0. Be nice to get a clean sheet after leaking a few the last few weeks but in order to that the midfield will have to hold the ball a bit better than they are doing. Almost impossible for a defence to hold out when they are under the pressure that ours were under against Spurs. Think Heskey deserves his start and wouldn't be surprised if he scores and hopefually Ash goal from Tuesday will kick start his season. 3 points is a must with our run of games coming up
