  1. Benjamin Button was 2009, haven't seen it myself but heard good things about it. Anyone seen it?
  2. good shout. forgot that one - top film. was 2009, according to IMDB: Release Date:27 February 2009 In that case that's my favourite film of the year. Maybe we could do a new poll once this thread has run it's course with the most popular choices? Come January 1st i'll do a new one with the top choices plus Let The Right One In, Gran Torino and anything else I missed.
  3. I hadn't heard of Let The Right One In until yesterday. Who would of thought Swedish Horrors are so popular on VT?
  4. Woops, Gran Torino is another I missed then. It is only a fiver at zavvi
  5. Just checked and Pelham was released in the UK in January 2009. I still don't see what was so bad about Pelham
  6. The Chinese guy didn't amuse me either. Reminded me of the classicly shit comedy trying to get a cheap laugh.
  7. That's shocking. Tut tut. I've seen it twice and enjoyed it both times. :? Only thing that annoy's me about it is the poor getaway. What didn't you like about it?
  8. I tried to get the bigger names, not necessarily the best. I thought Angels & Demons was awful.
  9. Aren't there 2 Sherlock Holmes films coming out at the same time? That's what I was told a while back. Madness if so.
  10. Too late to edit now I think I would of put more but I reached the maximum amount of poll options.
  11. I know it's a bit early but, what do you think is the best film of 2009? Hopefully I haven't missed anything big out on the poll. Edit: As I have missed a couple of popular films off, and the year isn't over yet, i'll make a new thread with any films missed off plus the more popular films from this thread in January.
  12. "Andrew Symonds (born 9 June 1975, Birmingham, England)"
  13. Seems like a pointless thread when people rarely comment on the other posts.
  14. Plaid Cymru have big plans for law and order i've heard :winkold:
  15. Lib Dems running away with it Conservatives for me.
  16. How many sarcastic Heskey comments are on the way now?
  17. Yes Martin has failed with the tactics so far... but so did Sir Alex Ferguson, David Moyes, Steve Bruce etc. Can we not give any credit to Owen Coyle and his side?
  18. Thanks for the reminder Tony.
  19. Hearing about ClaretMahoney's arse cheered my day up.
  20. No but someone close to me is currently serving a 6-year sentence
  21. No sixth form. The equivalent of College. Last time I checked I was male, what makes you say that?
