Agreed left wing isnt his position but by all account no 10 is. 
 

Got McGinn and Bailey ahead of him for RW so needs to do more than today in 10 role to earn a place. 

I’m in the same camp that felt like he looked very promising initially and more disappointing more recently. Thought he was poor today but to be fair McGinn and Duran didn’t do any better second half. We weren’t great as a team, tough one for the forward players.

There are a few things about Tesla unrelated to the cyber truck that have reminded me of that episode. 
 

I own one, some things about it are brilliant and feel very futuristic some incredibly bad and feel very backward. It’s an odd car. TBF one I own is a bit old, my old man has a brand new one and all the crap stuff seems to be gone.

I lean towards a trophy because I hate most of the CL teams and never watch it but it would be huge for the club to achieve that I do realise. 
 

Also agree that Martinez and Luiz will be off in next few years if we can’t get there.

This got me thinking because I actually missed the Leicester game aswell. Its the Liverpool match for me coming up to a year ago.

Agreed he’s got all the ability and tools you’d want. There is a question on the mentality to be a top level player but he’s 19 so that’s to be expected. 
 

Question is if Watkins get injured can Duran do a job for 10/15 games. I’m not sure on that at all.

Yeah - clearly the game plan was to go all or nothing in the first half and try to control the game from there. To be honest we were lucky to go in at half time even and after that the game plan worked in our favour. 
 

Was a very good game of football. For the neutral at least. It was one of those games which had me teetering on the edge of a panic attack.

I realise VAR plays quite a big part in our defensive strategy but I’d be much happier scraping VAR for offside altogether. 
 

People called for it for years in order to help stop the howlers not to enforce the rules of the game to millimetre accuracy.

I know what the Hull chairman said but I’d be happier to believe Unai than this guy at this point. 

Brought up in West Midlands and now live in Bournemouth. Get to most home games. 

Drive seems to be getting longer every time I do it.

I dont know the rules either but I'd argue when Watkins heads the ball Bailey is not involved in the game. He becomes involved when their defender heads the ball to him.

Jas is turning into the Villareport of Villatalk and personally speaking I’m glad of it. 

I know a couple who regularly go to these things. They often say they've had a great time. I had no idea. Looking at them a bit differently now.

I think that’s fair but he’s been so close so often I don’t think it’s mental for the fans to be thinking that way. He’s getting in the right places surely one’s got to drop for him soon. Might not be floodgates but seems reasonable to think he might be able to regularly chip in the way that Bailey, Diaby, Luiz, McGinn are doing now. 
 

Probably the most exciting thing about Villa right now is we are doing really well in an attacking sense but still leaving lots of goals out there.

There is definitely something there. He could have easily scored about 10 goals for us so far. REALLY needs to get that first one though!

He has got ability of that I'm sure - give him 6/12 months with Unai and he'll look like a world beater.

I wouldn’t worry about warm downs but need to manage your load at the beginning. Any time you work muscles that aren’t used to being used it will ache for a few days. Start slowly (in terms of load)  and build slowly would be best advice.
