He's possibly the most disappointing managerial appointment in my lifetime - even GTII had goodwill from his amazing achievements previously. Gregory even though plucked from relative obscurity was an ex-player. However, he's just signed up to managed in the kazakh league so we've missed our chance. Please Randy - he is not good enough to manage villa, I don't care he managed at the sty, couldn't care less, he just isn't good enough!

**** it, i have a season ticket and i'll still be there to watch us play a novel brand on 8-1-1. The novel bit being the 1 in front of the defence is more of a sweeper with cameron jerome up top by himself and bent, albrighton and delfounesso on the bench.

No-one knows anything at the moment.... Phil McNulty has prefaced his comment with 'a man who should know' so even his is not entirely convinced and has given himself wriggle room. This is different to many saying Martinez has turned down an interview earlier in the week, no-one will put their necks on the line. Theres still some milage in this i think.
