Remember when those Leeds fans were chanting Bamford's name whenever Ollie touched it in the Euros warm-up.
Must have made up Southgate’s mind haha

Really looking forward to having a different kit maker next season.

Man City wanted Kane and won the League last year................................think about that for a second!
We’ve all thought way too much about Manchester City this summer

It's good luck not goodbye
It is goodbye. Conor’s contract is up at the end of the season. It’s a case Olof getting him off the wage bill for his final season at the club.
loved having him as a Villa player during his time here. A few fond memories he has left us with. Bargain and helped the club to promotion. Glad he got his crack at playing in the Premier League with us and fulfilled his dream. UTV Conor.

Best of luck Conor. Always once of my favourite players since signing. I hope he plays plenty for Sheffield United this season, which I expect he will. Scoring and assist Ming plenty of goals. UTV.

How does Smith get blamed for this one ffs
It did seem a bit odd to let him play on, but we’ve no idea what’s been said between Konsa and the medical staff. Bad bruises can look very nasty and lead to same kind of reaction from a player, with no real consequences. So never as cut and dried as some are making out here.
Smith won’t, El Ghazi will

Precisely.. Smith and his team need to be far more switched on in these moments imo. The last thing you want is a player hobbling around at the back if you can get them straight off.
We all know what happened with Chester when he played on when he shouldn’t have. It just shouldn’t happen.

Needs a loan.
Age doesn’t matter if you’re good enough. The manager obviously wants him in contention for him to start the game today ahead of both Nakamba and Hourihane. So if anyone is going out, be that a loan or transfer, it would be one of those. I didn’t think he looked out of place today.
-
Few more positive comments on here now. Good to see him with his head up and looking to beat a man. Anwar is a real confidence player, and at the moment he is confident. Long may that continue.
-
Will certainly take him time to get up to speed with the League but I have no doubt he will eventually. Looked decent in the first half but tired a little. Looking forward to seeing more of him.
-
Very worried about him getting that knee injury especially with him not being able to finish the game. Finger crossed we don’t have to wait to long for some (good) news on this. Very important player for us, no doubt about it.

Fit again according to his Dad and available today.
....he's also going to get 25 goals this year and get us into the top four
“He is adapting, he is enjoying England, he is learning England, and he is back in training now and ready to go,” Butler said. “My aim is for him to hit 25 goals this season and get his stats up, but more importantly is to adapt and to become a part of the team, understand their system of play that they are going to be using, and to utilise his skills to help the team reach the top four this season.”

So if he has a good season and when we don’t get too four we can expect his family to push for a move…
Sorry just what I take from that quote. Let’s see. The season has just started.

Ill replace anyone if I can find a better player, who I think in turn can improve
Have you taken over from Dean Smith already?

Love him or hate him, with Bailey still injured be prepared for another Elghazi showing tomorrow.
He will definitely start, I can't see Smith being brave enough to start JPB.
Could be that, or it could be the fact that he got two goals and two assists in the last game. Plus scored a penalty against Newcastle last weekend.
Probably more that isn’t it?- 1

If only I knew how to change it..
I’ve let you all down.I’ll stick to what I’m good at - criticising el Ghazi.
No not at all!
So you reckon we’ll sign him next Wednesday then?

Can't wait to see him in action properly, but I think if he was going to play this weekend he would have had some time against Barrow.
Exactly right. Maybe a few minutes from the bench at the very best.

Keep forgetting about him to be honest. I’ve a really bad memory though…
excuse the pun but he genuinely will be like a new signing. I just wonder how this one will work out!

Are we actually getting Adidas or is it just wishful thinking based on Nas’ tiny shareholding?

Any news when the 3rd will be released? I thought it coincided with the 2nd round LC game last year.
I think you are right. No word on the release as of yet.

Did you buy the latest kit?

Absolutely right. His goal vs Albion in the play off first leg kick started our return to the Premier League. Will always cherish him for that moment alone.
Bloody bargain as well if he was bought for £1.5m.
And the belter volley against Birmingham.

That would be an Arsenal move. Like to think we are more sensible than that.
