  1. all about players , theirs players who need to be sold,

as much as we all like hutton, hes no lest back & was exposed at wembley for the goal, sb has not found a lb yet which is a worry..a worry the manager has bought bad in this area

to put things simple .. villa were the 4th best team last year fact & no complaints their, now with the cuts in ££ its going to be tough to get better than key players on the loan books

the options are simple, stick with bruce or hire better (proven)..big sam

if sb stays he need to act fast & get a top cb in to replace jt to lay the marker down , that way it may convince snoddy/johnston to stay on

  2. ortiz has been caught on juice TWICE, he is going to earn more than we earn in this fight what it takes most peps to earn in 10years..

he should be banned but the wbc are desperate to keep the green strap with DW, the fight stinks!

a boxer has lost his life this week in the sport.. i think if you are on the gear you could in effect end someones life ffs..banned-simple.. not rewarded with a crack at a heavyweight belt & pick up big $$$ .its wrong

  3. the worry is the squad beyond the regulars are not a match for a lower league club, if they are not going to push the 1st team players for places its not good..

100% focus on the league now, SB knows all he has to do is get the job done, no excuses about fa cup games/injurys..do the job as a manager or clock out! & if the second string players are not up to it..clock out too

  4. not defending sb but whelan /jedi are prem midfielders which was needed,

its bad luck kodja has been injured & not found his form from last season

terry will be back & add the needed bottle needed for the run in

albert injury was blow v brentford other night & they were on tv,they raised their game

if sb can bring in a forward soon the results will turn,

How to beat Villa in  three easy steps:

    1) Keep it tight in midfield, close down the Villa player as quickly as possible.

    2) Wait for and expect a horrendous defensive error from Villa. Score a soft goal. Repeat if necessary.

    3) Be confident and remain confident that the Villa manager has absolutely no idea how to change the game.

Take the three points and laugh at how far a so called big club has fallen.

this post is 100% correct, its been the blueprint since the bradford game in 2013.

theirs some deep problems at villa,.. one is the current squad know the club can not spend so the players are "safe", this is not healthy.

He's made 2 sub appearances the whole season

their nothing wrong with players who are on the bench..look at the last 3 seasons at stoke

if a prem player were banging them in do you think they would loan them to a championship side?

look at peter crouch.. villa gave him his 1st real platform years ago,he would improve the team & get more games at villa v stoke for 6months loan, i dont see PC asking hughes to let him join villa as he feels a dept to us.

with no ££ to spend & loans you have to look at prem benches

The same Johnathan Walters that was at Stoke?   No thanks.

yeh thats the one.. played & scored in the prem league regular for stoke when villa were swirling around the prem plug hole year in ..year out..

have you noticed how much stoke have struggled since hes joined burnley..come to think of it..how are burnley these days?

players like walters do a great job & when ffp is gripping villa by th rollox..the options are limited..

  8. no idea how he can turn this ship around..its not sinking but its not on course .

with players like gabby & richards doing nothing for the team he must feel so &*&^&&^ like us fans.

one problem at villa is hutton is still one of our best performers.to many average players.

wolves are making the bruce set up look like a pound land out fit

  9. just done a "deal with sky"

in short, joined virgin, £70 a month, 2 v6 boxes, 200 mb band, phone line/calls.. the band is good on speed test but thats about it! drops out etc, v6 box is poor quality for hd! better picture  on free view!

    cost £200 to leave but got sky Q & a mini box, sports.fibre bb,phone line,etc.£58 a month, 18months

  10. lets face it, he bought the when out of the prem, the main problem is getting back with ffp system now.

if villa got back the team now would finish rock bottom, he would have to spend, in short ..the longer your out the prem the further away you get.

if he bought villa in the prem he might have had a fighting chance of building a better team, when players like teki are finding a place like crystal palace a better place to apply your trade v villa .it shows how far the club has slipped & is slipping backwards by the game.

  11. dont see the point of sacking sb,

i can honestly say i dont thing villa will attract a better manager, it looks like the club has blew it ££ with rdm was in the building.

i see this team finishing around 9th if codga finds his feet before his sale in the summer to fund next years  spending to get out the league..were on a road to nowhere

I think Taylor, Whelan, Elmo, Adomah, Lansbury and Hourihane and probably Hogan are all good enough too, at least I hope they are.

your not alone,, every player needs to be 90% for 40 odd games, no slacking

terry will no "bottle it " for the run in, i hope the rest are from the same mould.

as big ron said .. "dont tell me ..show me"

  13. lets not dick about here.. dr t wants the club in the top league, willing to spend..

i dont buy the theory about players gelling..if they are good enough to win games thats all that counts

the players are good enough or they are not,,theirs no middle ground when your aiming for promotion ,its not about having a decent season & not getting promoted..

terry is good enough, kodja is good enough, chester is good enough.. the rest are bang average for me

the terry signing was great.. signing whelan says that barry will not be returning to us so lets all move on

i can only think that plan A is to get through the winter & IF  the team needs whats required for the final push.. the funds are in place in january

  14. heres my take..after watching the game..if you was a non biased supporter it could be argued that villa were out played for the game which is a worry so lets not 'iss in the wind here 7 sort it out

THE SQUAD.. theirs quite a few players who are simply not good enough, lets not name names but we know who they are

THE MANAGER ..has been backed ,some good signings, some bad,as pointed out, with hogan @ over £10m..looks a bad buy v kodja

AGAIN THE MIDFIELD...with 3 weeks to go i can honestly say i dont know who SB is going to pick to get us out the league. some bookies have us to win the league, for me sb is hoping kodja will single handed bang in the goals on his own & hope terry will keep the tally down at the other end

i could copy & paste this form the past..villa still have not replaced barry & have wasted millions of pounds on below par players & made below par players bloody rich doing so.

if barry had turned out for the villa you would clearly see how under par the rest of the players are,

i think their more going on behind the door of ffp then we know, bringing in terry was a great thing..but i dont think theirs enough in the squad to win the league..i may be wrong, hope im wrong
