its not possible to swap both players , however as tammy netted 26 for villa last year & is in the top scores in the top league now..

hence if he was at villa,,villa would have won .your only as good as your strikers,its a simple fact.

simply put.. chelsea have tammy & villa have wesley 

if it was the other way around villa would have won.

its a simple game, you get the best players you get better results.

some time you have to take a step back & look at the performance of the player, look at their skill set,vision,hold up play, runs, etc etc..ohh & desire !!

if you can not match a team for quality, you should be pressing the ball for 90mins ,make them make mistakes,

im not surprised by the wolves performance..v west ham we didnt look like scoring v 10 men, brighton out played us & was decent still with 10 men, the last min goal masked over the cracks. 

liverpool dominated us, wolves quality shone through, 

villa got what they deserve , you earn what deserve in this game

tammy & wes are on different levels in every way.

the deep bottom line is wes is not a quality player, we can compare him to benteke after 10 games,it makes no difference,ds bought him in for 22m to score goals, hes not a development player,were in the prem now,its not a rehearsal ,

time..thats the word ..time 

its something villa do not have when it comes to Premier League games to score

you can time players in other positions but not up front

when your talisman is not in the team you need grafters who close down & press the game.

Not that it was Mitrovic's fault but still. 11 in 37 is solid in such a poor team.

But he signed a new contract this summer and would cost at least £30m, probably closer to £40m.

And even thou I don't rate Wesley much yet i still feel the supply line is our bigger issue.

If we have £40-50m to spend I feel a quality winger on the right would be just as important as an additional striker. we need both.

The time to sign Mitrovic would have been in the summer before we signed Wesley. Hindsight and all that

DS spent a lot of ££ to build a team ,he had to as villa was loan players last season.

the team was going to hit the ground running or be not good enough.
