  1. I think one of the issues in how VAR is implemented is the clarity of comms between the officials. The transcript from the Liverpool/Spurs game back in October (Link below) shows a lack of control of the situation and tbh there are more mates in it then a SHA night drinking in town. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/oct/03/var-audio-full-transcript-luis-diaz-goal-liverpool-tottenham I'm not against VAR for blatantly obvious errors but there is so much they could do to improve the communication to the crowd. There is a reason the conversation between the Ref and VAR isn't broadcast and that's because of the informal approach to how decisions are made. mate
  2. Spurs Fans would have loved it when Villa dropped points against Chelsea and Brentford. I'm praying Spurs drop points tonight....we both have to play City twice, if we do better in those matches then happy days!
  3. It's on at 6PM but you can catchup on BBC Sounds. Blues fans seem keen on having soldiers playing for them. As much as I value our armed forces I think they would be better recruiting professional footballers
  4. I wish I could be there but you'll probably hear me celebrating if we beat Liverpool from Brighouse
  5. Great thead a Villa fan from Plymouth my first Villa game was at Home Park in '87. 3-1 to the Villa with a Mark Walters double. Argyle were very close to being wound up a few years ago so to be where they are is amazing progress despite losing to SHA last minute. Always love to see Villa and Argyle working together in some way COYG and UTV
