  1. on a less pleasant note, the small heathen board are at it again... well, not to two up on corruption charges as they are "surprisingly" quiet for a change, but the one with the beard is "rolling around in the mud" again...

as he has decided to "demote" a decorated and respected man such as yourself over his misunderstanding of a comment due to his own lack of intelligence, lets hope we can do our talking on the pitch, and return the favour to his tinpot little club and help "demote" them tomorrow...

    1. I just returned from a trip to UK. I had great meeting with Randy on Thursday in London and then went up to Villa Park for good meetings on Friday and Saturday. Then came the game. I was very disappointed in what happened. This was a game we should have won...a game we needed to win...and a game that our competitors around the league gave us an "opening" if we had won. It was just sad. I am sure that MON has had a long talk with the Lads...not just about passing and football skills but about confidence and aggressive football. This is a Squad that beat Chelsea and almost had Arsenal...they can do it. All I can say is that it was not good football and MON, Randy, the Directors and the Team all know it. There are people questioning whether Randy is really willing to spend money to improve the team. I can assure you, he is. Mon knows that and so do all the Directors. Both MON and Randy saw the game. They saw what you saw. I have said it before and I will say it again, we need to trust them. NO ONE is happy losing!! We want to win as much as anyone. When the team does not play to its ability, we are all gutted.

its great to hear your honesty over the "performance"....

hopefully, the manager will see what thousands of us see with regards the squad, and do something about it in the summer..

the issues that we discussed might have affected our incoming january transfers and we can do nothing about that, but letting go players like moore, cahill, etc, were not affected by outside influences...

and its safe to say, that we could do with those players right about now..

thank you for your honesty over the game though... very refreshing to see...

  3. tbh, think it was a little harsh on us, as we were the better side, but a couple of mistakes and some clinical finishing gave chelsea the win...

karuka for them was excellent... his mazy dribbling was superb and his goal well taken... thought we could have done better with that attack, but story of the night was silly mistakes from us costing us dearly...

overall, they held the ball well, and their movement was excellent.... having said that, they only really threatened us on 4 or 5 occasions and scored 3 goals from that... whereas we had numerous chances and only put the ball in the net twice...

thought some of the link up play was superb from us... forrester, delfouneso and bannon in particular all seemed to be on the same wavelength...

was frustrating though, how 50/50 balls nicked away, always seemed to drop at their feet, whereas they were always just that fraction away from us... maybe it just wasnt our night...

for us, forrester was excellent and took both goals extremely well... delfouneso was quiet by his standards, but he won everything in the air, showed some excellent touches and good vision... didnt get in and around the box enough for me though and he looked a little off the pace...

bannon was his usual self... tenacious, excellent touches and good passing and vision... cant win a header though because he is only 2 foot tall...

albrighton was very quiet for me... good delivery on occasion, but didnt show anywhere near enough of his ability...

baker did well, although had the odd shaky moment... he has an excellent touch and a good bit of pace about him... he handled their danger man from the first leg, stoch, very well...

thought collins was poor.. very poor first touch and nowhere near enough pace...

bradley had a torrid night.. not just being skinned by karuka, but his heading and clearing was attrocious...

overall, it was a good night of football for the 11 thousand fans that turned up, but disappointed to not be in the final... having said that, this is an excellent test for the youngsters to see how they react, and the signs for one or two of them are very very positive...

the future is very bright for three, maybe four of them and they can all be proud of their run this year...

    1. Re. the mosaic. That was intended to be a secret...simple as that. It was to be a special gift from Randy to the Fans. I will not say where it is going to go or when...that would take away the only part of the secret remaining. Just know that Randy's sense of our history is very powerful and the mosaic is a perfect example.

shame that the secret got out, but wow...

    what a gesture...

words cannot express how much this makes my heart smile...

  5. thanks for the response general...

if villa are firmly against the idea, even if it happens, then that is good enough for me..

i wont like it, but if the club i love didnt want it to happen, but it is forced through anyway, then there is not much we can do about it..

it would mean a lot to me that we would be fully against this "idea" if the reported stupidity is the actual plan...

  6. that and the fact that he is an over-rated twitching cockerney barra boy..

would be great to see him crying after two weeks because his own fans are booing him...

i can just imagine it now,

"fackin nora gavnaaa... *twitch* twern lark dat in maar fackin dayye.. *twitch* wi shaaaaaad fackin respec to arrrr fackin eldaz... *twitch* dem caaaaaaanntss wur givin it all fackin *twitch* larj ryte fackin nex *twitch* ta fackin kiddiz... *twitch* dis-fackin-gracefal gavnaaaaa... *twitch*...."

  7. Chaps - we had similar experiences yesterday. At half time the 2 police men who were watching it all happened cam back with the classic, "oh we will do something aboout it if it happens". The Wigan stewards were nowhere to be seen and when we eventually spoke to one they said a lot of them didn't know what was going on as they had a lot of people off that day!

me and my friends experiences were the same too...

how someone wasnt hurt in all that was beyond me...
