good stop by friedel, although i am concerned about the fact that the ball always seems to fly back into the centre of the box when he saves shots lately...

delph is looking good.. some great touches, neat passing, great pace, etc...

excited abput that kid... still a long way to go for him, but early signs are good...

great kit general... i view it as miniscule changes because last seasons kit was so good, with the view that most dont have to buy it, despite the alleged contractual obligations to nike... cunning plan, if my thinking is correct...

with regards to the current squad, i am sorry, but the "small squad" excuse will not wash this season... there is only so many times in 3 years that it can be used... it was valid in season 1.. questionable in year 2... however, now, unless randy is ordering a cull of the squad as a cost cutting excercise (and i dont believe that for a second), then if the excuse is used, it will be dismissed by me, and i will not be a very happy villa fan... have to say, that this particular villa fan is starting to get a little concerned about the managers transfer dealings...

I love the way Messi just always stays on his feet even when he's getting hacked by the opposition (i.e Chelsea). Fantastic player. Any other player and they'd be rolling around the floor crying. (i.e Ronaldo)

that is what i love about the player..

absolutely fantastic attitude, and such a wonderful dribbling style...

personally, prefer his dribbling style to the silly little step overs that do diddly squat but wow the "highlight generation" fuckwits...

its also a lot harder to do too, as he has to run at speed and switch the ball between his feet to take it through players...

a joy to watch...
