  1. General Krulak here:

    1. I know that there are many out there who wish the Club to pick a solicitor and go after NOTW. I would imagine that by now, most realize that this is just not something our Club would do. We, again, try to let our actions speak for us. NOTW might get a large readership but our Fans and the members of the Forces who have served and are serving are our on ly concern. Our actions will show to them where our hearts lie.

with all due respect, crappy little rags like the notw need to be taught a lesson that they cannot go around lying and making libellous statements about great institutions like ourselves because we do not fit into their agendas...

obviously it is the clubs call, but i would be straight onto a solicitor and demand a full apology in the paper so that all can see that they are liars...

but you have said you wont, so that is that...

  2. Hello General,

    The Holte Pub

Also, instead of this lottery thing on match days have Villa thought about having a first come first entrance system in the Holte? That way people that do like the place will pack the place out to the rafters on matchdays and it will probably have a knock on effect in midweek when the pub is empty and just losing money.

    have to agree with this...

if it wasnt invitation only, then i would probably drink in there before every match, rather than in the yew tree...

havent actually had an invitation yet either...

  3. general, is there any chance we can make an official complaint about mark halsey?

the man clearly has issues with aston villa football club, and his incompetence (would like to think it is that, but the cynic in me thinks otherwise), has cost us points far too often...

it has come to the point where i expect a defeat before we have even kicked a ball, as soon as i see his name down as the match official...

  4. General Krulak here:

....and I apologize for being a tad passionate myself. I am a fan JUST like you all.

    only way it should be...

think a lot of frustration is being let out in the thread, and as much as some concerns of the fans are valid, for me, we need to trust the club is being run the right way...

martin o'neill will metaphorically live and die by his actions...

at the moment, he seems pretty healthy to me...

time will tell whether that remains to be the case but to expect the board to get involved in transfers, is going back to the dark days under ellis...

i do NOT want the board to interfere with the footballing side of the club...

  5. overall, i am over the moon with the way the club is being run, and the progress we are making...

starting to get slightly itchy feet over the coming season though, as we are ridiculously light in terms of quality and numbers, and this is a situation purely from the managers doing...

so he really has to rectify the issues that he himself has created, by getting rid of so many who could more than do a job, and not replacing them with anybody because he wants the "right quality"... for me, having players that can do a job, is better than not having any players at all for cover and competition...

  6. I don't understand why Liverpool fans think Benitez has won the mind games after today's statement given by MON?

I suppose whatever makes them happy!

its because they are clueless deluded chimps and cannot ever see anything their club do, as their fault...

it is our fault that they cannot afford him, it is our fault that gerrard begged barry to join them, and it is our fault that benitez waffled to the press about where barry would fit into their side and "problems when your captain wants to leave"..

well, you should know you fat muppett... wonder what this deal breaking down will do to gerrard after his very public begging for barry...

    2. MON's comments on the Barry issue pretty much tell the tale. It is now up to the fans as to who they believe. I can state, unequivocally, that MON hit the nail on the head....and was kind to Barry in doing so. We have tried very hard to be professional in all of this...and we will continue to do so. L'pool knows our price...they either will pay it or not.

general, what will happen if liverpool dont pay our price?

will gareth barry be sweetened up and utilised, or will we take a hard line on him to send a message out to the rest of the squad?
