  1. THIS THIS THIS.... Everyone can see this apart from one stubborn git...
  2. A great chance to propel our race for 4th place, so we will defo lose :L Time for a reshuffle Martin, and use the subs FFS! GK Friedel RB L.Young CB Collins CB Dunne LB Warnock RM Albrighton CM Delph CM Petrov © CM Milner LM A.Young CF Gabby/Delfoneso/Carew
  3. So where do the majority of Villa pub-goers usually go before Citeh games?
  4. It blatantly obvious that players like Petrov were **** after 60 minutes, but MON won't bring him off. Chelsea's players started to run ring round ours because they used their subs. And when he did finally pull his thumb out his arse, he brings on that useless lump of shit, why not give Delph and Delf a go? Try them for ****'s sake! They have got nothing to lose...
  5. Coaches for a game 3 miles away... Scared much?
  6. Heart says = 1-0 to the Villa Head says = It's going to be a long, long afternoon
  7. Wasn't the Adventures open before the 5-1 game? And if I remember rightly Villa fans were buying booze from the shops in Aston and Witton and drinking them on the streets...
  8. The team that I would play: GK Friedel RB L.Young CB Collins CB Dunne LB Warnock RM A.Young CM Milner CM Petrov © CM Delph LM Downing CF Gabby The team that will be played GK Friedel RB Cuellar CB Collins CB Dunne LB Warnock RM A.Young CM Milner CM Petrov © LM Downing CF Gabby CF Carew I think that we will get over run in midfield if we play 4-4-2, but we'll see...
  9. I think there's always one person who votes for Heskey!
  10. Great post, get yourselfs up to Bolton, cheap admission prices, one of the best away days in the league and you can pay on the door! Come on you Lions!
  11. I suppose all the pubs will be closed...
  12. Isn't there a rail strike this weekend? And a good place to park is the away fans car park right behind the away end, it dosen't take too long to get out afterwards either...
  13. MON seems like he won't take Petrov off even though he was clearly knackered after about an hour. Ashley Young was again our best player but he is not world class as suggested in an earlier post... We sat back again, can't the blighter see it's not working? Bye bye 4th. Maybe next year...
  14. Great, another 90 minutes of dross from Heskey. It goes without saying that we need Gabby back ASAP, also, Dunne may not be fit after limping off on Saturday so hopefully Luke Young will come in and Cuellar returned to his rightful home of centre-half. Unless Heskey and Carew is working brilliantly, Defouneso (and, to a lesser extent, Albrighton) MUST be given a go, the kids must be like dogs waiting to be let of the leash, they would scare the shit out of the Sunderland defence...
  15. Hi General, I recently posted this: How serious is this threat of reducing the stadiums capacity? Surely this would only cause more problems around the ground. I prefer to stand at Villa games anyway, but stewards spend a lot of time (annoyingly) telling large areas of the Holte End Upper and the North Stand Lower to sit down, do you think a safe standing area could/would work at Villa Park? You only need to look at football in Germany (Dortmund) to realise that this can work... Thanks a lot.
  16. What pubs do Villa fans usually go in before the game?
  17. Never been before, what pubs do away fans usually go in beforehand?
  18. I'd swap Carew and Young in those ratings, what's the interview and what has been said? MON has said how delighted he is with the performance, and praised us for not losing... Most pathetic interview I've ever heard...
  19. Hang on, you're saying Wednesday is a must win game (which it is) and yet at the same time you're saying we're pretty much out of it? Yes, if we are to have any chance we have got to win on Wednesday but even if we do I think Spurs, Liverpool and Man City are too good for us...
  20. That's only because we sat back, if Ron Atkinson had of been in charge of us today we wouldn't have sat back, we would have carried on the way we were playing up until the 1st goal and thrashed them!
  21. Wednesday is now if it wasn't already a must win game, MON still thinks we are in the race for 4th but after that today I would put my house on us not finishing there. After pretty much every game this season I have come away complaining that we haven't scored more and that we should have carried on from where we started but have let the opposition come back into it, today has been the final straw, we should have battered a piss poor Championship bound side, but we sat back and they are delighted with a point...
  22. The man is tactically clueless! Hasn't got a plan B, his attitude is to not lose, if you are happy with the tactics and how he sets us out to play then you should go and watch Stoke... Also, I think the ground wasn't full because of the game being (ridiculously) priced at category AA. The highest prices for a team battling for relegation! No wonder it wasn't full, thats a joke... He's done alright for a tactically clueless manager. The one's caling for the sack are the one's sat at home! I'm not calling for the sack, I just don't think we will achieve anything with the style of play he tells the players to deploy, and as for the ones sat at home, I've missed 4 games in total this season so that was a quite ridiculous statement. Spurs are 4th because they attack and don't sit back on leads, they have won at Stoke today, something we failed to do last week.
