  1. It's time for rotation, although we won't see it, MON will not change the side greatly unless we are losing, he is happy to draw and that is why we won't win anything or finish in the top 4 under his management. Cuellar must be dropped and L.Young brought in at RB, Heskey should be dropped for Delfouneso or Gabby and if we go a goal ahead we SHOULD NOT SIT BACK, also, if things aren't working, use the bloody subs! I can't see anything other than a draw atm...
  2. MON's mentality is awful, as soon as we went one goal ahead we sat back (yet again) and let them come back into it when we should have teared them asunder and gone on to score more, but no, lets hold on to a 1-0 lead against a shower of shit. Then even at 2-2 it was Wolves who looked most like winning it, it drives me **** crazy as the bloke is so negative and it is costing us points where we should be winning comfortably, Wolves couldn't live with us to start with, then we scored and they looked the better side apart from about 20 minutes in the 2nd half where we managed to find an equalizer...Don't get me started on the subs, again these decisions are costing us points and are so, so negative you would feel that we were the relagation threatened side, MON has a "no lose" attitude to match Graham Taylor's, as long as we aren't losing then nothing is going change, Cuellar and Heskey should have been off at HT for Luke Young and Delfouneso (who must wonder wtf they have to do to get a look-in) and yet another pointless introduction of Sidwell, as it happened, they had a hand in our 2nd goal but they will not have that effect week after week! It's driving me mad as we have some exciting, fast, young players in that squad and we are not utilizing them correctly. We will not achieve anything with this way of playing, 4th place is out of our reach now and we are not going to beat Chelsea in the semi. Spurs deserve to be in 4th because their mentality rather than "don't lose" is "if you score 3, we'll score 5". We are experts at making shite teams look good and I am sick of it, I have lost all faith in MON and I do not believe, with his stubbornness and way of playing, that he is the right man to take us onwards...
  3. How do you know this mate?
  4. I've got a feeling that we will be close to a sell out by the time kick off rolls around...
  5. I know about 6, come on Villa, show them who's the pride of the Midlands!
  6. General, I would like to express my disappointment with the decision to include Wolves in the "AA" category, I doubt we will sell out on Saturday and the prices for a relegation threatened team are ridiculous. I have never once complained about ticket prices at the Villa because they are usually spot on (including season tickets). I know this won't change anything but I thought I would explain my view. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!
  7. The prices are quite high though, I dont expect there will be too many empty seats come Saturday...
  8. ^ Adventures mate, best place for Villa fans pre match for a sing-song...
  9. General, Any idea of what the attendance will be on Saturday? Would be nice to have a sell out against one of our local rivals... All the best
  10. We really need to win this one, especially after only getting a point today, I would go with (providing all are fit): GK Friedel RB Cuellar CB Collins CB Dunne LB Warnock RM A.Young CM Milner CM Petrov © LM Downing CF Gabby CF Carew Subs: Guzan, L.Young, Beye, Sidwell, Delph, Heskey, Delfouneso Wigan lost 4-0 today so hopefully that will work in our favour on Tuesday...Although they did beat Liverpool at the DW.
  11. Again, how can people vote for Heskey as MOTM? The bloke does a big fat **** all, MON commended him for his defensive headers! Oh so thats why he plays 90 minutes! It shows MON's mentality that he praises the centre forward for doing defensive duties! I really don't see how England can expect to win the World Cup with Heskey playing, if he scored and did nothing else it would be ok but he just dosent. We don't seem to have a Plan B, or MON dosen't have the bottle to use one, why not put Delf and Delph on to shake the game up a little? I am also getting used to the fact that perhaps a "long-ball team" dosen't seem far off the mark to describe us judging by todays performance. Having said that, we still could have won the game and the defence again (even Cuellar at RB!) played extremely well, I'm going for Warnock as MOTM as I can't remember him doing too much wrong... On the positive side, a win on Tuesday then again on Saturday and we will be looking up once again. Up the Villa!
  12. I am going on the train. £13 something return from New Street. Briar Rose for early morning beers Sounds good pal, I might do something similar, although I dunno if I can be bothered to go into town first before setting off...
  13. Same, however much we rant about it, it's inevitable...
  14. It's a few days before the game and I still don't know how I'm getting there! Advice? And how are you getting there?
  15. Cuellar at CB instead of Collins please with L.Young brought in to RB, Carew has got to start instead of Heskey!
  16. Go on then, share your knowledge...
  17. Would the one person who voted for Heskey as MOTM like to explain their decision?
  18. I hate MON's negative tactics but they have got us to Wembley twice so I suppose I can't complain. MOTM That big number 10 up front! Come on Stoke and Fulham!
  19. Reading were stunned. Why the **** have we let them come back into it by sitting back AGAIN? Jesus Christ MON is infruriating! mWe should be killing them!!
  20. And Heskey, true to form, misses the chance to put the semi final in the bag...
  21. Now we are gonna sit back again! This is mad!
  22. WHY DIDN'T WE PLAY LIKE THIS IN THE FIRST HALF??!! This shows what we are capable of!
