it can't just be down to Randy though? tottenham have lots of money and haven't done much, same with Sunderland, Man City...Everton have hardly any money and have done well. It works both ways for me....not one or the other. ALTHOUGH, I'd rather have a good manager with not great funds, than lots of money with a poor manager...

agree with the above, for me Everton play some really good football, but for the first 3 or 4 years of Moyes Reign, they were arguably the most boring team in the Premiership.

well if I had to pick, it's MON. as O'Neill controls the transfers, the players, the team selections, the basic day to day stuff of the club.....David Moyes has shown, you don't need to have loads and loads of money to be succesful... but generally both are big factors in our success. The trust Randy has with O'Neill is key as he let's him get on with his job without demanding instant success, which means we can build properly

With the points yes, but look at the performances in most of the games, Hull away, West Ham away, Portsmouth away etc. we were bloody rubbish and very lucky and i said so at the time. You could count our great performances this season on one hand. fulham, portsmouth, Stoke, Wigan and even today....we controlled the game for most 80% of the match and missed alot of chances in all those games...it works both ways. Points is what matters and at the moment we have good points tally.

Of course our home record is nothing to be proud off....im not happy with our home record. Are you not happy with our away record?

Okay, okay, okay Uefa Cup = we threw away Premier League = who could forsee our random form suddnely dropping? the Stoke game lost us so much confidence, we only finally recovered from that for me in that united game and we suffered another set back. BUT FOR **** SAKE. WE PLAYED OUR FULL STRENGTH TEAM IN THE FA CUP AND LOST TO EVERTON. Why do people always say we played a weakened side!? no we didn't, we just got beat!

I don't get why this has been a wasted season, hopefully it's one we will learn from. Mon will learn he needs to add more depth and quality, the players will also learn alot of things, that when in a bad run they have to make things happen and not just wait for things to happen, they would of learn not to be perhaps over-confident while in leads and will hopefully learn to close games out better.

I don't know, I think United could perhaps struggle without fergie. At the time, the club and Mon were perfect for each other, we weren#t an attractive prospect after finishing 16th...

It's pretty harsh to critisce him for not winning anything when pretty much the top 4 win nearly every trophy. Not only this, but we've never had the team good enough to win a cup. With £90 Million we should be top 6? Tottenham, Sunderland etc..have all spent loads and loads of money in recent years and not finished their. We had a squad literally with 4 players good enough for the top 8. So we've had to literally re-build our whole team, so i'd say what we've done so far is a great acheivement, that's I also tend to think why Mon has brought mainly english players. Because the amount of players we've had to buy, it's easier for say 7 english players to be new to surroundings than 7 foreign players who all speak different languages. 1. I don't see how Mon is lucky to manage our great club? great success at Leicester and Celtic. We finished 16th and we're on the brink of relegation with players like useless de la cruz, I hardly think managers we're looking at us thinking "what a great club"...however I wouldn't say we're lucky to have O'Neill, because when we had him, he hadn't managed at the very top level, so it was basically a perfect match like someone had said, and the match has been superb, with constant progress under him. I think people saying, he's lucky to manage us is completly wrong. We're a BIG club. BUT we've never been one of those attractive prospects, when we we're 16th in the league, do you think players were looking at Villa, wanting to come? No they weren't. He's took us to being a club that players want to be part off, players want to play under O'Neill and for Aston Villa. We have to remember, O'Neill got us in this position. It's not as if he came when we we're already 6th. He came when the club was in one of it's not so good periods over recent years.

Dear friend, with the money he have spent would you expect any worse than top 6? look what DOL did with almost no Money under Doug Yeah DOL finished us 16th... Man City, Spurs have all spent loads of money and are nowhere near us, so he must be doing somerhing right.

Make sure Mon knows the fans generally think he's fantastic for us, a recent poll of yes or no, saw him gain 333 yesses, and 10 no's! 10 no's i actually thought was quite alot to be fair. Anyway, General do you think we will win our last 6 games? Yes or No

General, nice to see your opinion on Carew. I suppose it's hard to pass the fans opinion on without "interfering"...just wondering if you've ever told Martin what the fans think, because it's quite clear to see, 99% of Villa fans wanted to see John Carew play with Agbonlahor, we know Heskey's a good player, but not on the same level to John as shown against Man United. Nice to see in the BBC Sport interview that Martin said he really needs to strengthen, hopefully by that he means QUALITY over Quantity. Will you be there for the Everton game General?

Hi General, seeming your passing comments on, Could you tell from the whole of the board, to play 4-5-1 OR Carew and Gabby upfront! we all want to see it! 4-5-1, we went 13 games unbeaten and didn't lose a game playing it, so why did we then change it..it's not working, and we shouldn't of changed it. I love Mon, and everything at the club, but this is 1 thing i don't agree with. Just a question, with the recession...etc, will we have a more limited budget for the summer, or is it again a case of...Randy wouldn't really say no, if he the right player was there, I know it's a difficult question, but say Martin spent £5 Million in the summer and everyone was annoyed at why we only spent that, at least if you said the budget was going to be limited, then it means we shouldn't expect more.
