    Good old Yankee Eric.

Where is he now I wonder?

Hopefully above Gresford in the thread pecking order.

Under 19 coach at FC Cincinnati in the MLS.

  2. It's unfair to blame the individual fitness of a player as well. This is a problem that is brought on from the amount of games an Premier League team has to play, the time in which it has to be played, and the lack of a squad to rotate in.

The plan and tactics work. Now it's up to Gerrard and the recruitment team to find a squad that he can use to rotate in and out. Not useless defenders like Marvelous and the kids on the bench.

The majority of those players played on Thursday night too and at the end of a long season. City had a full week to prepare.

City can field 2 teams that could beat Villa's starting XI.

Not sure what changes/subs he could make. He has no rotation because, as we all saw with Marv, the depth in the squad is terrible.

  4. Pretty impressive that out of the big former England international players trying their hand at manager, they picked the worst by far. Obviously Steve has been hot and cold but looks a good bet long term. Then Rooney is getting a bunch of Vanarama level players under Admin at Derby to play their socks off.

And yet, Lampard remains. Given job after job when he couldn't manage a McDonald's.

  5. Truly, and I know others will strongly disagree with me, I think he's the best thing to happen to the club over the past 22 years.

A manager with real drawing power, ambition and surrounds himself with a strong staff that is great at building relationships with players. He's the one to stop Villa from being a stepping stone and turn us back into a real giant of the game.

Looks like Wolfsburg are winning the race for Ricardo Pepi. Don't follow the MLS but he's supposed to be the next big US prospect.

Good business for them, I believe he'll make his way to a big club in no time.

Five draws and a defeat in the last six, couldn't beat Norwich or Newcastle.

They also got draws against Arsenal and Liverpool, and their only defeat to Man City.

Seems just a hard team to break down and they like to sit on the ball in their own half. Negative shit.
