Curious to the comments about hopefully keeping him for 3 or 4 years.
Not to say surprise firings can't happen, but the only legit step up from us who may have an opening soon is Arsenal, and I highly doubt they'd go with Lambert, although Lambert is very Arsene like in his transfer policy.
If we keep progressing at a good, natural level, I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be here for the next decade.

Avoid Relegation
Be in the top half of goals scored.

"He is a real box-to-box player with a decent pass and a good shot in his legs, especially when he's built up some confidence" - Sounds a little bit like Delph to me. Welcome to the club Leandro!
That was my thought as well.
Sounds like Delph, without the crippling tackling.

...I miss the neon green already...

Champagne and strippers for him, please!

Interesting article in the Mail. The similarities that are now occurring between us and the browns appear to be little more than coincidence.
It is absolutely remarkable.
The NFL is a sports league that prides itself on parody, yet Randy Lerner couldn't get a team to lose less than 10 games a year for almost a record number of years. *Note, 16 game season, no draws*.
Randy Lerner has been one of the worst sports owners in recent memory, as far as creating a stable and good football management. Trust me, I know, I've lived through both of them. I don't think he has any clue, he keeps throwing money at the problem, and now that he is out of money, he doesn't have a clue as to what to do.
If by some miracle Villa survives relegation, he must sell. If he really cares about Villa, he MUST sell.
-
It's odd that Lerner's wealth has increased £300,000,000 in the past year yet he's not doling out any cash! Now's not the time to be a tight wad Randy...

That's what happens when you sell a billion dollar company.

Worst owner in the history of sports?
Ruined my Browns, now he is ruining my Villa.
He needs to get the hell out of sports and go spend daddy's money somewhere else.

Reinvest in the club or get the hell out, Randy.
Lambert cannot get through to the players. I won't shed a tear if he is fired.

Taking out both our work rate and our skill from midfield really crippled us.
Lambert really mismanaged that one.

When we decided to sell Milner.

Albrighton is still pretty shit, isn't he?

Chris Herd is a terrible CB. Who thought that was a good idea?

Benteke is God.

10's for everyone. Everyone played fantastic. Out passed them, out hustled them, and were much creative than them, and out coached them.

Good half, but I think a replacement fore Ireland and Weimann are needed at the moment, IMO.

Dear me, what a goal. What a strike. Absolute CLASS

He can be B2.
Bent is B1.
BANANAS IN PAJAMAS!
Anybody fancy photoshopping that?
Could be a little close to the fine line of racism that.
Didn't mean to insinuate that but...yeah, poor judgement from me.

I'm shocked, never rated him among the best USA goalies. It's unfortunate there was no way for me to DVR the game here in the states, would have liked to have seen him play.

When a team coached by Sam Allardyce is more threatening to you, then it's a bad thing.
On the other hand, it probably should have been a 0-0 draw, but really we would not have deserved it. Lambert has work to do.

I only have a casual interest in American football, what team would Villa be most like?
Very hard to make a comparison...maybe the Detroit Lions. Traditional team, industrial city, haven't won much in a long time...
I'd go with the Bears rather than the Lions.
Hell, the Lions were the worst team in NFL history 3 years ago. Villa has never been a punching bag.

Tough to win at the Bridge when the breaks don't go your way. And it was more than breaks that didn't go our way.
Oh well, onto the next one. Let's ravage Plop.
