  1. What I don't get, is that even you don't understand the BLM movement or the meaning inferred when taking a knee, is that by actively booing you're in effect standing against equality. Would they boo the miner's strikes in the 80's? Would they boo the poll tax rioters, or the march against the National Front and more latterly the BNP? If the fans in attendance last night were told that their behaving is leaning towards fascism, would they then understand the gravity of their reactions? Yes the actions of football are against racism specifically, but the reactions from the fans feels like it has even further reaching consequences. Open your minds you idiots, there's more at stake here than you realize.

He is not even Captain for us.

What is it with Villa fans obsessions about thinking Southgate spends all his time plotting against Villa players?

Also, he is relatively new to the England setup, compared to some other " established " names.

If we signed Messi tomorrow, would you be happy for him to suddenly becoming captain, and stripping Jack?

I think it's more the way he left the Villa combined with the way he wouldn't pick Jack when he was performing so well, and the rumour was because Jack hadn't come through the St George's Park development system.

  3. Loved Star Fleet as a kid, picked up the DVD boxset a few years back. That, Trapdoor, and SuperTed were amazing! Tried to watch it over Lockdown with my 9 year old boy, who promptly laughed at it and went back to Minecraft videos on YouTube. It's a generational thing. Something I never realised until I watched it recently though, Lee was voiced by Mark Rolston, Bogs from Shawshank.

The Tories are now further to the left on many things than Labour. Bizarre.

This won't be as open and democratic as it would have been under Corbyn's proposals. The Tories will be handing the contracts for the services to their friends and family, none of which will have ever stepped on a train, let alone own and operate a fleet of them.

I’m currently in Oxfordshire and just released Fulke from St Albans Abbey.

ive got more and more into it but haven’t really upgraded my armour/weapons yet barring Varins Axe, which is one down from mythic

I’ve almost got the complete magister armour - is it any good?

which are the best weapons/armour to upgrade?

If you can get the tablets to unlock Excalibur then get to it. I snuck around in some of the high level regions, and ran away a lot. You're unstoppable when you get that. Thor's hammer and armour is good, but you don't get them till you've finished the main story line.

Other than that there's no real "best" armour. It's totally based on your play style and what runes you get.

  6. If we can get him consistently further up the pitch it'll make us so much more dangerous. Usually puts in a terrific cross, definitely has the ability to pick a player out when pulling the ball back in the box.

Another good performance and my motm today.

I’d only seen one angle on a highlights reel, and it didn’t look that bad. I’m guessing from other angles did look bad.

He looked right at him before stamping on his head. I get it's frustrating when you're being held in by your leg, but it was as deliberate and dangerous an act as you'll see.

  8. I had my antibody test back this morning, 201 U/mL, which is positive but quite low from what I understand. I've had two vaccine doses, last one in March. I too take immunosuppressants, Azathioprine and Entyvio and they've inhibited my body's response to the vaccine.

However, from what I gather we shouldn't be basing how effectively we're 'immune' to Covid based on the antibody level alone. T cells will offer us some level of protection too.

There has been no official standard or recommended level given yet as to what level the antibodies should be that would give us a safe level of protection against Covid. There are studies still ongoing.

  9. Talking of players behaving like a clearing in the woods, Mike Brown can consider himself lucky he only got a 6 week ban for his assault on Tommy Taylor. Absolutely disgusting stamp and far too much leniency shown by the RFU. Punishments like this are bringing the game into disrepute.

Nii Lamptey, Sasa Curcic and Fabio Ferraresi would all become top players with us.

As a Champ Man lover, Nii Lamptey was the most excited I'd ever been about a signing. I even had his name on my shirt for my 13th Birthday in 94. Gutted it never worked out :(

  11. Astonished at some of the picks. I do wonder if he's gone for 'name" rather than form. Daly and Farrell have been poor at international level for some time. Only serious reason they would have been picked I can fathom is so they can be utility backs. Even considering that, I'm not sure picking a player with such poor technique in the tackle like Daly is a good idea against a very physical SA.

On the flip side, I can't see either of them starting any of the tests. Too many in form players in ahead of them.

Very happy for Sam Simmonds. Except that if he does get called up to the England squad now the media will say it's because he was picked for the Lions.

Bundee Aki is an interesting one. Not sure either way, given his high profile discipline issues.
