You know that fans of every single club say exactly the same about Grealish and most of our team?

I'd stated that we've done it, however commentators often speak about this during games, McManaman did during the Burnley game as an example. When Leeds do it it's completely ignored, when in my opinion they do it far more frequently.

  2. Diving, or at the very least looking for any kind of slight contact before heading to the floor.

I know this is part of the modern game, and we may have been guilty of it a few times this season, but it does my nut in that they're never called out on it but instead they're almost lionised. Hope they fade away very quickly.

  3. Had the vaccine today. Impressed with the speed I got through and the efforts of the staff and volunteers, but there's so many idiots still not even social distancing. Queuing outside an old lady was right up my arse, had to tell her to back off. I wasn't the only one warning people either.

Then when inside where your paperwork is checked it was just a free for all with so many people ignoring spacing signage and not distancing just so they can ask a moronic question. Really got me thinking about how much of the spread could be down to there being so many stupid and oblivious people, and not just dangerous Tory policy or selfish people. I was quite shocked to be honest, and I'm a pretty cynical person.

  4. The Burnley fans are generally quite confident about this one, and their recent form has been decent. I believe there'll not be many goals in it, 2-1 either way or a 1-1 draw. If they're confident after the Liverpool and Fulham wins and tonight they come on to us we'll beat them though.

  5. With it looking likely that Celtic won't qualify for the Champions League this year surely that'll bring Eduoard's price down even more? He's not looked very good for Celtic this season either, but I don't know enough about Scottish football to say why. If he's cheap he wouldn't be a bad squad player surely?

  6. Now Dean has rightly blown up at the officials, and the offside incident completely waved away by all and sundry, my worry is that he's going to become a figure of fun in the media. Next time Dean complains about anything there'll be stories about his behavior rather than the incident, just like whenever Mourinho used to blow up. Mourinho historically acted like a clown to unify his squad (us and them mentality), but he did sometimes have a point. I fully expect other refs to pay more attention to Dean now, in the way that they're aware of who the play actors are and by admission will be more reluctant to hand out free kicks etc. I'm in no way criticizing our manager and agree with his reaction, however I can see it coming back to bite us in the future.

  7. The squad Sheff Weds have just didn't suit Pulisball. Couple of guys at work are Sheffield lads and big weds fans. Pulis promised the chairman he'd play attacking football when he was interviewed and when it never transpired there was a bitter split which resulted in him leaving. Fully expect them to overtake the scum should they get the right manager in.

  8. Had a letter from the GP yesterday saying to expect my 1st dose in the next few weeks, and the 2nd by the end of May (I'm CEV). It sounds to me like the NHS know we need both doses, but the government and the Tory led media are trying to spin things to say everyone with the 1st dose is vaccinated and we can start reducing restrictions once the Top 4 most at risk groups have had the 1st dose, which will be in the next couple of months.

Based on the clinical trial results, and the plan to distribute the vaccine, it appears to me that the decision to extend the time between vaccine doses is down to protecting the economy (those companies that donate to the Tory party anyway), and not in the interests of safeguarding the at risk.

  9. Just now, TrentVilla said:

He was a fading player way before Fergie went.

I understand your point, but I think he was a victim of taking on more team responsibility after some quality players had left. I don't doubt that if he'd looked after himself better when he was younger he could have remained more explosive for longer, but his passing game really developed in Fergie's last few years and Rooney started to stay deeper.

  10. Was never the same player after Fergie left utd. I think that could be said of a lot a players that either left utd whilst he was manager or those that stayed after Fergie retired.

It's well know he never looked after himself off the field, but the game is littered with players like that. Just a shame we never got to see what he could have been.

  11. I wouldn't be surprised to see more zero hours contracts and and part time roles pushed into other industries after this. Rather than furlough, two senior members of a less busy team in the company I work for have been made part time, and they're effectively now job sharing. One works Mon, Tues, half day Weds, and the other works the remainder of the week. It's daft really as we work in IT and it's often difficult picking work up off other people without starting again.

  12. These daily numbers are only going to get worse over the next few weeks until the effects of lockdown kick in. There really has never been a western government that has so abandoned its duty to protect the people.

We've had hundreds more die in one day than Australia has during the entire pandemic.

  13. He does not care that we know he's a liar. That's why he does it. All the time for years and years.

Just like Cummings didn't care that we knew he was lying about his road trip.

Just like Hancock lies continually over track and trace. He does not care.

    They're corrupt. Not incompetent.
