If they dont want tuchel ill gladly have him down bodymoor in a flash…. Hes a excellent manager they just need to have some perseverance he won them a champions league the other day for goodness sake… sterling is getting goals so they cant be complaining about playing him… want us to grab poch now and pay him what he wants… he will iron things out here and his got all the resources needed

Just came on to post about TT. Interesting as from the outside I think he's a good manager and tactician but the comments from the Chelsea fans are interesting.

Personally think he's struggling because his formation requires certain players. James forced to play at RCB rather than RWB has hurt the team, as has not having a suitable out and out striker.

Wouldn't be against having him if he became available but would still prefer Poch, Potter and Rodgers before him

    tea and biscuits.

I can ask the author of the tweet if there is any more information on the type of biscuit if that helps?

FWIW I reckon Poch is a bit of a biscotti man who loathes dipping a biscuit into tea

    Just came to post.

Please be true. The same guy said yesterday he'd be given time though and atleast the next few games. He was absolutely correct on info he gave through the last few weeks but becoming less sure on his tweets as he gets more exposure and attention/incentive to keep posting.

Maybe CP wanted to give him more time but NSWE told him no chance. Get the jet booked for Poch's back garden

  4. Owners will want a 'can't miss' person this time. No more projects or up-and-comers. I would be confident that they would have a big say in the next manager. I think Poch will be top of the list due to him being out of work, having Prem experience, being a big name, being quite successful in previous jobs, likes developing youth and even for the South American links. Wouldn't surprise me if they were already sounding him out

Basically I don't believe the players hold much blame at all, either for talent or effort. All players will have periods of poor form however. But if you're in your work place and you're not trained properly, you're not given clear roles, the aim isn't made explicit, you see valued colleagues being belittled in public, you see favourites and everyone is just doing their own thing... Well, then productivity falls, moral falls, confidence and even the most conscientious workers find it hard to motivate themselves. People can't perform to their best as the tools aren't there to do it.

    Totally agree with this

We can play this way with the players we have surely?

    Martinez

    Cash / Chambers / Mings / Digne

    Kamara /Luiz

    Bailey / Buendia / ?

    Watkins or Ings

Kamara in the Dier role, Emi in the Erikson role. Only question mark would be the left wing

Gakpo wanted by Southampton, one we should be in for for the attacking role, especially with ghazi going there, might have a bit of extra leverage

Should be all over this. Linked to Everton too so we should be able to blow them out of the water.

Very nervous now, think Dan Bardell on Talksport about 50 minutes ago summed it up wel

Yeah heard that too. Agreed with him.

Buendia and Bailey not in the starting XI again. Surely their pace would have troubled West Ham. Hopefully still in the game late on and they can make a difference

  9. I went Spurs in Prem, just thought it looked simplistic, modern and smart - wasn't a fan of the font though.

Didn't really like any in the Championship tbh. Went Burnley in the end simply for the shield design.

Europe, went with Roma due to shape and look.

On the whole, European badges are just so much better than the English ones I think. It was a genuinely difficult decision to only pick one badge out of the lot. So many to admire.

It's a 24 hour news channel dedicated to Aston Villa but it only shows us being drawn to Man Utd in the cup over and over again, on loop.

Could you imagine a 24 hour Villa news channel. The chaos and meltdown's it would cause!

Weird… why would Juve sell and exchange for inferior players?

I’d be shocked if they wanted either of these guys 😆 Nowhere near their level.

    The cheek!

Come on Villa, put a proper offer in!

Trying to picture Harry Winks in a Juve shirt.. 🤣

But let’s take Konsa for example. Less than 1 year ago we were worried that he would be snapped up by the likes of Liverpool, and that he should be playing for England - even ahead of Mings at one point. He signed a new contact which, let’s face it, means he is earning more money. His job is to defend; track the runs of strikers and put his body on the line to prevent us conceding. Whilst it’s the overall system that the new coaching team will be looking to change, surely that shouldn’t impact on his overall ability to defend? He looks lost, and he isn’t doing the basics. So what has happened which means he cannot fulfil a fundamental part of his role in line with the salary he is earning to do just that.

Perhaps its the coaching part for him? I can imagine Smith and Terry being very focal about good performances and good parts of his game whereas I get the impression that Gerrard et all aren't really about that.

I also think he might be one of the players Martinez was talking about during his interview when he mentioned players are very different in empty/full stadiums.
