Rest assured, what's coming is a stone cold classic.
Got the whole of VT on strings right now! Any idea on release date?

Some sort of 'swap' deal with Diego Carlos maybe? Help each other out in the FFP stakes.. a-la the Gallagher-Duran rumours.

Well that was amazing. I'm not rating the players or Emery or the ref.
But the fans 100 out of 10.
Agree completely. Easily the best away atmosphere I've ever been a part off. Just a load of fans in a great mood from start to finish.. and for a bit after

'Modest fee' so what like £4-5m?
Barkley has shown that he does well when he plays consistently. Will he have that option at Villa? Who knows but I thing I do know it that if King Unai wants him, that's good enough for me.

We'll always have that absolute peach of a goal he scored against those Leeds scumbags. Forever grateful for that one.
Did his best for us and hope he moves on to a decent club in the summer.

Thanks for the memories Clement. Did the job he was brought here for. We've had worse 4th choice centre backs
-
Spotted him outside Selhurst Park yesterday after the game.
Got an 'Up the Villa' only.. half expected an "Up the Villa you c0cksucker" but alas

Congrats to the winner. Top 7 finish for me and a top 40k finish overall so happy enough

Interesting...
Off topic a bit but* does Ian Maatsen (currently on loan from Chelsea) have a mandatory clause to join Dortmund when his loan ends?

We have to remember it's a squad game now and the 5 subs off the bench. Depth is key. Gallagher plays a variety of positions so would likely be involved in some way in every game.
Only way I see this happening is with a 'dodgy' deal between friends (aka Wes and Todd). Smart business whatever way you look at it and doubtful that it can be proven if/when someone kicks up a fuss.
Personally, would rather the fee is spent elsewhere.. could probably get Frinpong and Fofana for the asking price of Gallagher

Anyone know what they mean by The Railway? I can't find a pub called that nearby. @Rustibrooks?
There's the full tweet. Left of Telegraph at the end in the original post

I'm not sure Luiz will leave, not this summer anyway unless he's forced out. He was celebrating as much as Emery was on the touchline when we equalised against Liverpool, he loves it here, and will want to play with us in CL for first time.
That and he has put so much effort in to get us into the CL. He'll want to experience it with Villa

Say is was £18m on a 5.5 year deal. That means we've got about £13m left on his amortisation. Could make a big profit IF the rumours about needing to sell a player are true.

Feedback on how the current hospitality sections (terrace view, lower grounds) are fairing money-wise and capacity-wise and whether there are plans to amend/add to these next season

Right it's been nearly 12 hours since the match ended and my pulse is still racing. Do I need to go to the hospital?!

Martinez
Konsa / Carlos / Torres / Digne
Cash / Luiz / Tielemans / McGinn
Diaby / Watkins
Bench: Gauci / Olson / KKH / Lenglet / Moreno / Tim / Bailey / Duran / +1 youth
I think that's what we'll see tonight. Bailey has looked like he's playing with an injury and it's clearly affecting him. I'd have him on the bench and try and get 20 mins out of him if we need him.

I think we'll see a lot of Konsa/Mings/Torres back 3 combinations next season if Ty can get back to form before the injury.
Konsa at RB and an attacking LB or Torres at LB and an attacking RB playing 3241 in attack

Ross Barkley

Based on this season at Luton, i've read a fair bit on how he really upped his game in that department. Bit of a workhorse apparently. That was probably his main issue during the loan spell so if he has improved on that, he will be a decent pickup.
