was working half hour away from burnley today and it took me 2 and hald hours in rush hour this morning to get there so with it being a saturday it shouldnt take any loner than that.
hi general
ticketing arrangments have being announced for the carling cup game at portsmouth and as a supporter who travels to 95% of away games i was unable to travel to sunderland in the last round due to work commitments. now i have noticed i cant purchase a ticket to portsmouth until the supporters who travelled to sunderland have brought theirs. i find this appalling that missing one game could result in me missing the quarter finals. i totally disagree with offering tickets to non season ticket holders before season ticket holder for any fixture as you cant show anymore loyalty to a club than buying a season ticket before a ball has being kicked. im all for good will jestures with free travel to games but surely we should be offering priorty to the people to travel often first?
that away end dont hold 6000. when we take 2300 thats more than half of it. plus i would only expect us to take an initial allocation to start with as every away game this season has gone to booking history apart from wolves.
briar rose it is then half 8 saturday morning. reckon there might be a few villa in there. get the train bout 11:45 to that shit hole of a city also known as wolverhampton. come on you villa boys!!!
Only 3 hours to Sunderland onthe coach? Are you sure you weren't just bevvied up and it seemed that quick? I would've thought it would be a good 5 hours on a coach. I'm sure it took me about 4 hours to get to Newcastle on the train!
Taxi's from Brum to places like Boldmere and Sutton are going to be about £25 in the early hours of the morning, Lichfield you'd be looking at £30-40, similar for Tamworth and anything north of there you're best getting the coach to drop you off at some service station in Stoke!
what **** taxi firm do u use? would never ask you to to book my taxi lol. no matter what time of night it is its always the same fare.
apparantly they will be challenging man united and arsenal 1 day. someone slap him for gods sake. o and peter pan couldnt make it to birmingham from london today for some odd reason. great start by pan head.
away tickets are not flying off the shelves this season apparantly. blackburn was the most popular away game last season and there is still bout 600 left for that out of 3000.
just murdered off a bottle of jim beans finest. **** hammered now, fink its betime. cant wait to get on it in the kingy edwards at 12 tomorrow. good times.
p.s. i love a good old tipple.
Thirded. Seems well out of order.
well any chance of anythink being said or done about this general?
thanks.
Seems I'm going to have to stand up all game just to see the players' feet, so no doubt I'll be kicked out after ten minutes...
hi general
as your are probably aware birmingham city have charged the villa fans £48 a ticket for the derby on sunday. now we were led to belive this is because thats what they are charging there own fans. now there is speculation going round that they are charging £15 a ticket for adults in so called restricted view areas which are the front 5 rows of there stands. if this is true then surely villa fans who have got tickets on the front 5 rows should also be charged £15. i was wondering if you could get somebody at the club to look into this as it seems they are ripping us off AGAIN!
thanks
i have always parked outside the tower block of flats on the side road just down from the away fans entrance. parked there for the last 5 derbies at the sty no problems yet (touch wood)
i no ive just heard them rocket polishers singing there 2 songs. shame they ent that loud at the sty every week. gutted that blue nose word removed won.
oh campione, the one and only
the villa boys,
everywhere we go we'll make alot of noise,
drink all ur beer and shag all ur wives
and repeat it it serveral times. liverpool might sing song to this tune but it aint just there tune.
