I can name 20 teenagers who at the time were bought for monster money based on little to no senior games and turned out to be flops. This is a big gamble.

"He'll be class for them" - he's played once for the first team. It's the equivalent of paying £35m for an academy player based totally on hype from their u23 coaches and nothing more.

If we had done this there would be pandemonium as he has done materially nothing other than be an exotic name that no one has heard of...

Me, its a nightmare market, things are taking time. Wouldn't be suprised if up to 40% of the deals are done in the final 2 days of the window.

regardless, I think he’s a promising player who is pretty versatile and worth a look at - hence a loan with an option to buy.  

Think we should just have a team full of Exeter academy graduates to be honest, they seem to be killing it.

They must want to sell some players now to recoup some money???, a few good players there who in reality will now be bit part players (Ampadu, Loftus Cheek, Batshuayi.....)

Welcome Matty, looks a real player and hopefully can develop into a top full back in the coming seasons. Also gives us proper depth at RB which has been a perennial problem since the MON days.

We need a decent goalscorer. We don't need someone in their late 20s who has a couple of grim injuries in his past and a pretty average record. He's the kind of player toys maybe be ok bringing in to fill out the squad as an option, but at the money he'd demand when we need better, no. No. No.

We won't be looking at Wilson, it goes against everything the hierarchy have said we are looking to do i.e: young and with potential to develop at the club whilst being a step up in quality to what we have. 

It's just lazy press guff as usual, take no notice, hide away and wait for an actual announcement before judging this window as everyone seems to be judging the club based on press rumors which is comical.
