Not saying he's coming here (he's not) but interesting that Ruben Loftus-Cheek is out of the Chelsea squad entirely today and is not injured as far as I can see from the Chelsea forum.

Firstly, every single poster on this forum knows that this is total horseshit and you will be right in for him on match-day 1 when things don't go to plan. Baseless hyperbole and dreamland thinking are the first things that come to mind.

1) Dean Smith has had a total squad rebuild on his hands since we came up in 2019. The owners have backed him to the tune of two-hundred and ten Million pounds sterling net since that time, putting us 4th on net spend in the PL in that timeframe. Yet you moan.
2) And on point one, don't say, yes but theres no quality there waa waa. It was a total squad rebuild. We needed squad players and we needed them fast. We also added quality in Douggie and Targett.
3) We needed a striker and winger (and keeper to an extent) much more than we needed CM's and CB's. Engels and Hause are a hell of a lot better than the back ups that some lower end PL teams have btw.
4) there are weeks left in the window and you have no idea that we won't fill those spaces you mentioned with an upgrade in quality. There are murmurs that Engels is off and it wouldn't surprise me if Connor is gone before the window shuts too.

We still need another striker, midfielder, centre back and another winger.

Interesting that Liverpool are selling academy prospects in Brewster for £20 mill + & Dutch RB linked to wolves for £10mill. They certainly know how to obtain best value when selling...
Helps that they're the current PL champions.

Just watch Smiths interview, when someone asked if he was going to sign anymore Brentford players he had to bite his lip to stop the smile, could Benrahma be back on?
More likely Henry

So do we trust this Samir Wahid?
He seems to think personal terms have been agreed.
If I had a quid for every person on twatter/insta that said we had had a "fee agreed" or "personal terms agreed" over this entire saga I would be well off enough to drive to sodding Bremen and pay for the bloke with a briefcase of cash and still have enough left over to buy a dinner and handjob from his hot wife.

Yep we should get what we desperately need sorted first and then go last minute shopping to get some depth
Exactly this, get a CM sorted if that's what they're prioritising, then if any sales are pulled off (insert kenneth here) before the end of the window we can piss a few more million up the wall on a striker option.

If Samatta leaves, I don't think there's any way that we won't sign another striker to replace him, all it would take is for Watkins to pick up an injury and we'd be left with Davis as our only other option. We have other players who could perhaps play there, but we don't want to find ourselves in a position where we've spent all this money but only have Davis as our only specialist centre-forward for a lengthy period of time.
Percy said in his recent article that Smith's keen on another striker if Samatta leaves, and that's what I expect to happen.
Personally I would be waiting until deadline day or near to it to weedle out the players who were on our original list. By that point clubs will be desperate for cash but won't have the time to piss around and play silly buggers over fees before the window SLAMS shut.

When Leeds sign him tomorrow, can we keep this thread going ad-infinitum just for the fish puns and mental instability on offer.

Going by his thread the Eduardo link seems to have gone very cold.
Brewster seems to be constantly mentioned in the press. Not that that means diddly squat really.

The profile of player.
Aside from the fact that you've never met, seen, (most likely watched) or analysed the player in any way what does the last line even mean?

Well we would have taken pump faking to extremes If we've gone as far as agreeing a fee, having Traore pass a medical and fly into Birmingham?
Can you imagine Bertrand getting to VP and the whole management team are there in clown costumes ready to yell just kidding brooooooooo

If Palace sign Benrahma I wonder if that’s in anticipation of Zaha leaving.
I could see Zaha in a Villa shirt.
In his head he thinks he should be at Bayern, Juve or Man City I'm afraid...

Yup, bargain for Depay. Traore could end up around 25m with add ons reportedy
Where have you seen that out of interest? I read that it's £17m rising to £19m with addons.

To be fair though we sought out and listened to the (German) WB fans about their view on Rashica so we can’t have it both ways.
For the record I’m supportive of the move for Traore. Just over a year ago he was touted as being a £40m player, and one crap season where his manager has either not played him or played him out of position as a RB it’s no surprise his value has dropped to £17.5m.
So hopefully the club have decided that in the right team, right position and right coaching they can create value both on the pitch and off it.
Yeah, fair enough.
I will support whoever wears the shirt to be honest. I am hoping though that this is a classic case of new surroundings, right system and a new lease of life.

They say he's shit. Are their opinions not valid?

Has anyone also mentioned that Ismalia Sarr has still not had any offers and now Liverpool have signed Jota it's getting close to him needing to be sold? He has practically told Watford he's not playing in the Championship for them.
I'd personally take him over Rashica.
Before we might have been looking at £40m, now with time running out and a shortage of offers, someone is going to get a godlike signing there at the 11th hour.
